President Donald Trump dismissed the news that House Democrats asked the Internal Revenue Service for six years of tax returns on Wednesday.
“Is that all? Oh. Usually, it’s ten so I guess they’re giving up,” Trump replied when asked about the news by reporters at the White House.
House Ways and Means Chairman Richard Neal (D-MA) requested six years of Trump’s taxes, thwarting the president’s decision not to release them during his run for office.

Mnunchin can axe this, and must. Sen. Grassley said the request has “no legitimate legislative or oversight purpose” and was thus INVALID.
How many times has a Democrat president ignored Republicans? Finally, we have a Republican president who isn’t afraid of his shadow, and he’s dishing the Democrats a helping of their own medicine.

So the question is, does Trump go to court first to get an injunction against the request, or does Mnuchin decline the request and the Democrats go to court to compel the Treasury Department to furnish the documents?

Has any “reporter” asked why they are asking for Trump’s tax returns? Without probably cause I would think a search is illegal.

I have decided to release my Tax returns and I have also signed an Executive Order requiring the Treasury Dept to PUBLISH the Tax Returns of every Member of Congress and Staff members at the same time they publish mine.
