“..President Trump is the first man since Reagan who had me smiling and damned near dancing into the polling booth to vote for both in the primary and the General Election...”
Same here, brother.
For once, we actually did NOT have to choose between the lesser of two evils.
We had a chance to vote for an American. And did. And he won.

Agree, and the establishment hated Reagan as much as they hate Trump. We hadn't had an actual choice since Reagan.

The ONLY way Hillary would have won was to have another Clinton/Bush election. The pubbies figured out that Jeb!'s ceiling was 20% of REPUBLICANS. That's why they made Florida winner take all and allowed so many candidates in the primary. They figured Jeb! would win Florida with 20%, the other candidates would get 10-15% split, and they could declare Jeb! inevitable because of delegates. They knew he was weak, they just didn't know he was THAT weak.

"He needs to stop this."

What? Stop telling the truth?

"My opinion of the Bush family has done a complete 180 in the last few years. "

I'm with you. And now that Poppy and Mommy Bush are gone, Im betting the Bush and Clinton families aren't as tight as they used to be.

I think you are missing the reason Trump did win.Its because he took it to them in a big,big way.The pussies that dont like it can get the hell over it.Everybody votes their wallet and the “moderates” that dont like it will still vote their wallet. The bushes did nothing for this country in fact I believe they punished us for fighting back against amnesty along with that POS mcCain and romney,by allowing the muzzi to win the white house. The economy is booming in spite of the demonrats and the deep state.

The Bushes, all of them, continue to act like fools!

God Help Us, the Michael Moore-types may in the end turn out to be right about W.

You misunderstand.
Yeb! was supposed to be the Designated Loser.
He was planning to lose graciously.

The entire “service” of Bush League Republicans is to prevent the citizens from stopping the illegal alien inundation.

The Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA) is paramount.

“I remember him saying he would get in trouble with the principal. I told him I’d be right in the office with him and he wouldn’t be in trouble in my house.“

I dealt with a similar bully problem with my son. He was being assaulted at school so I set a meeting with the Principal and his guidance counselor. When I arrived I was met by 4 people. The Principal, Assistant Principal, the guidance counselor, and one of his teachers were waiting for me.

I explained the problem and even showed them side pics of the bruises he came home with. They told me since they hadn’t actually witnessed things there wasn’t much they could do. I told them I’d instructed my son to meet force with force and that he’d been taking some classes in TKD so he could defend himself.

They rather smugly told me the District had a “zero tolerance” policy and that if they saw my son do that they’d suspend him from school no matter who started things.

I thanked them for explaining their policy. Then I explained MY policy.

“You people are morally, ethically, and LEGALLY, responsible for the safety of my son while he is in your care and control. I am sure you’re all familiar with the legal concept of “en loco parentis”. If you fail in your responsibilities and my son is harmed in any way or punished for defending himself because you failed to do so I will not only sue the District but I will sue each and every one of you personally. I’ll have you stripped of whatever indemnity you think you have and leave you bankrupt.”

I also told them that if it happened again I’d file criminal charges against the kid who did it have and have him removed from the school in handcuffs for everyone to see.

Then I went home and wrote a letter recapping our meeting. I sent two copies via registered mail to the school and to the Superintendent of the school district. At the bottom of the letter I wrote that I had sent a copy to “my attorney” which was the name of a law firm I found on the internet. I didn’t really copy them but they didn’t know that.

The day the letter arrived at the District office I got a call from the Superintendent. He told me that there was no need to get “my” lawyer involved and that he would deal with the issue personally.

The problem child, who apparently was quite well known, was placed in an “alternative educational environment” and the problem ended.

Sometimes you just have to get peoples attention in order to get something done.

Best,

L

What President Trump said showed sensitivity and was quite mild actually.

They began as “nice people” but after two presidencies and one governorship they became very full of themselves, particularly G.H.W. Bush and his wife. I think GW was and remains the most mild mannered of the bunch.

Shut up? Trump was responding to a reporter’s question about Barbara Bush’s criticism of him in a book released after her death. The Bush family did not endorse him in 2016, the nominee of the Republican Party. Jeb went back on his pledge to support the nominee of the party. Bush 41 said he voted for Hillary. President Trump was not invited to Bush 41’s funeral.

The Bush family was a disaster for the GOP and the country. They destroyed the Reagan legacy. Trump revealed the pettiness, hubris and arrogance of the Bush family. The elite political class is personified by the Bush clan.

You should be asking why Barbara Bush even included her attack against Trump in her book. Maybe she and the rest of the Bush vipers should shut up. Recently, Jeb called on Republicans to challenge Trump in the primaries. Jeb won’t.

PDJT Should preface his answers about dead people by rebuking the press for bringing up dead for the purpose they do it.

Good job! I never asked my son if it went any further. I have the feeling when they saw he stood up for himself, it ended. I used my personal experience when I gave him the advice. The funny thing is, after I stood up to my troublemaker, we became friends. Weird.

“The Bushes had no problem telling the world they voted for Hillary and Trump is wrong on the border and he caused Barbara’s heart attack. Maybe they should stop it.”

AMEN!

He was asked a question! He couldn’t care less about Barbara Bush.

All he said, in essence, was: “Good for her. I went after her sons and she didn’t like it.”

“Were you in favor of the Iraq War when it was happening?”

Assuming you’re talking about the second Gulf War I’m ashamed to say I was. Needless to say my opinion has changed considerably. It was a stupid, stupid mistake that cost hundreds of American lives and left the region in far worse shape than it was originally.

Saddam was a horrible, evil man but he kept a tight lid on the real crazies over there. If we’d left him in place and concentrated on the real trouble spots, Pakistan and the tribal regions of Afghanistan ISIS would never have gotten started and tens of thousands of people, mostly Christians, would still be alive.

Afghanistan and the border region of Pakistan should have been bombed into rubble. Pakistan in particular should have been hit again and again until they handed us Bin Laden’s head on a platter.

Instead we, and by we I mean GWB, decided to get some payback for Saddam for trying to kill Bush the Elder. By doing so we left Iraq in a shambles leaving space for Iran to come in and **** things up even worse than they were.

Then ISIS came into being and the rest, as they say, is history. I was wrong to support it and I admit that freely.

I hope that explains things for you.

L

Barbara Bush, a nice grandmotherly persona spawning a reprehensible cluster of corrupt banking reprobates.

Everywhere the Bushies were, from the S&L Crisis of the elder to the mortgage meltdown of the junior, they sowed destruction on the middle class. allowing white collar banksters to rip, embezzle, abscond, and get away.

And yet they had the audacity to hold themselves as ‘proper and prudent’.

Her family ushered in a lecherous criminal President in Bill Clinton and ushered in a traitorous usurper in Barack Hussein Obama.

That family has done more damage to the GOP than most will ever know. It drove many out of the Republican party into registering as Independents. Thank God Donald Trump is bringing them all back home.

To Barbara Bush, we say Rest In Peace but we’re not buying your book and we’re not tolerating you berating of a great. great plain speaking fighting President that is restoring the Republican Party to greatness after your spawn wrecked it.
