President Trump said in an interview Thursday that he wasn’t surprised Barbara Bush is quoted dissing him in a new book — because he campaigned so harshly against the former first lady’s children.
“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be,” he told the Washington Times in an interview.
“Look what I did to her sons,” he added.
Trump was responding to a question about a new biography of Barbara Bush, published after she died, that reveals the former first lady was extremely critical of him going back to the 1990s.
The biography, “The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of a Dynasty,” quotes from the late first lady’s diary, in which she wrote that Trump represents “greed, selfishness and ugly.”

My opinion of the Bush family has done a complete 180 in the last few years. I used to have a modicum of respect for them.
No longer. The only thing that prevents me from slipping into complete and utter contempt for the lot of them is the work GW does with wounded veterans. But considering he’s the reason most of them are wounded even that’s pretty tenuous these days.

It is so nice to have a real man as President and not one who apologizes and caves constantly.
She should have instead encouraged her boys to grow a pair.
In point of fact, President Trump didn't do anything to her sons. Her sons were long before exposed as frauds to the conservative cause. FR grieved over Jorge Busho's blatant disregard for truth and integrity.
And everybody, everybody knew that Jeb was a clueless hack who would simply perpetuate the globalist treason begun by his father and brother.
IMO, whatever embarrassment the Bush Dynasty feels, they brought it on themselves. Well deserved, too.

I wonder if she would have still been BFF with the Clintons had low energy Jeb! somehow have gotten the nomination. Hillary and her minions in the press would have brutalized Jeb! into a gooey pulp during the campaign. I am such a fool to have supported those RINO swampers for so long.
