President Trump said in an interview Thursday that he wasn’t surprised Barbara Bush is quoted dissing him in a new book — because he campaigned so harshly against the former first lady’s children.
“I have heard that she was nasty to me, but she should be,” he told the Washington Times in an interview.
“Look what I did to her sons,” he added.
Trump was responding to a question about a new biography of Barbara Bush, published after she died, that reveals the former first lady was extremely critical of him going back to the 1990s.
The biography, “The Matriarch: Barbara Bush and the Making of a Dynasty,” quotes from the late first lady’s diary, in which she wrote that Trump represents “greed, selfishness and ugly.”

Yeah, he could be Presidential like JFK who had an affair with Marilyn Monroe and a steady stream of sweet young things through the White House, or LBJ who ran around the Oval exposing is private parts and expecting his staff to follow him into the law while he peed (oh yeah and famously said if we pass civil rights we will have those n*****s voting for us for a hundred years) , or Clinton and we all know what he did.

Me too. I held my nose when I voted for GWB because the alternative was worse. Can you imagine Kerry in the aftermath of 9/11? Then McCain. President Trump is the first man since Reagan who had me smiling and damned near dancing into the polling booth to vote for both in the primary and the General Election.

I don’t know if I’m a bad parent (single father) or just my old new york attitude, but I remember when my son came to me in his grammar school days on how to deal with a bully he was having problems with. I told him to avoid him, but if he pushed him to push back and if he punched him to punch him back. I remember him saying he would get in trouble with the principal. I told him I’d be right in the office with him and he wouldn’t be in trouble in my house. The problem went away. Fight back. It’s how Trump got elected despite being in the cesspool of Washington DC.
Donald Trump did a service to Jeb and the entire Bush family. They saved him from the most embarrassing defeat in American history to der Hildebeast. Trump should have been congratulated.
