Michael Brown was 18 in 2014 so he was born in 1996. McSpadden is 39 in 2019 so she was born in 1980. She was 16 when he was born, no much more than a child. I think I see a big part of the problem here.

When a community/city demographically skews to the lower, uneducated, dependent ,criminal class this is what happens. THEY VOTE their own in. They become the politicians, lawyers, judges, teachers and support and promote the new status quo. They are the government employees, ruining agencies, approving each other for welfare and government benefits to 'get theirs'.
The only flaw in their positions of power is that they lead a city full of takers-and they need someone(the minority) to PAY for everything. The minority they hate and outnumber.
Being connected to criminals in ANY way is a badge of honor and street cred. She will most likely be elected because the majority of voters are just like her-and her son.

She's 39... so she was 34 when her son robbed the store and started the events... He was 18 when he was shot... so she was 16 when she gave birth... so she was 15 when she got pregnant... has birthed 4 children, has never been married...
But being the unwed underage mother of a thug and bully, whose "baby-daddy" also beat and bullied her, whose son got shot after robbing a convenience store... this clearly qualifies her for public service, right??
Well, apparently it does, in Ferguson MO.
(His father, famous for his "Burn this bitch down" comment, is 3 years older... so 18 and 15... meaning he may have been guilty of statutory rape, depending on what Missouri law was in 1995. Maybe he should be Governor.)
