Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wallows in ignorance the depth of which is hard to fathom. The fact that this woman graduated from high school and college is an ongoing rebuke to our educational system. Her most recent howler related to the 22nd Amendment, which limits presidents to two terms in office. AOC helpfully explained that it was passed in order to prevent the re-election of Franklin Roosevelt
According to AOC, Congress amended the Constitution to prevent FDR from being re-elected:
"They had to amend the Constitution of the United States to make sure Roosevelt dd not get reelected."
(Reminder, FDR died in office in 1945; the 22nd Amendment came in 1947)
As pretty much everyone knows, the 22nd Amendment didnt prevent Roosevelt from being re-elected. He was elected to the presidency four times and died in office. The amendment was ratified in 1951, six years after Roosevelts death.
Of course, we shouldnt be surprised. AOCs ignorance of history helps to explain how she can be a socialist.

AOC gets all her material from Movies
“(Reminder, FDR died in office in 1945; the 22nd Amendment came in 1947)”
Just what does that have to do with it!?! For Pete’s sake, if dead democrats can vote, then certainly they can be reelected!
just to show you what level of “education” you receive at Boston University if this clown graduated with a degree in economics..
Republicans just need to let her keep talking. She is gold! She needs to take on Pelosi for Speaker. Is she any more absurd than Pelosi?
Horses never learned history.
Ha haaaaas!
Listening to her Daffy-Duck voice is enough to throw her credibility .
red freedom you are completely correct. As Joe Biden said FDR got on TV when the stock market crashed in 1929 to reassure the public. There is an entirely new form of history.

Don’t interrupt the bartender. She’ll go for another spontaneous dance. It’s good enough for some voters.
She probably thinks he was able to walk, too.
And comics or "graphic stories" that add so much to her usual 1-2 page Wikipedia education (3 pages or longer on Wikipedia is called "deep reading" by some millennials who find that length too in depth and too intense to handle.
Back to the movies like you said. Easier. Especially along with Raisinettes like Harvey Korman in Blazing Saddles.
Hillary should know
In the course of my life I have met people like her.
I put them in the often wrong but never in doubt category. - Tom
Y’know, one of my favorote Reagan quotes has always been, “It’s not that our Liberal friends are ignorant, it’s that they know so much that isn’t so”. But in Alexandria’s case, Reagan is wrong, she’s ignorant.
I mean, when Rudolph’s nose shone so bright and Santa realized he could guide the sleigh at night? That was a great moment in American history!

Then along comes someone like AOC. I gotta say, the more she speaks, the more I'm starting to think I may be exceptional. I mean I consider history, politics, national security, the environment and a few other things as topics I'm interested in and thus have bothered to learn a little bit about. These are mere hobbies compared to my forte at such things as engineering and software development. But even at my mere hobbyist/enthusiast level of knowledge on these topics (and others) it is apparent I know far more about them than AOC who claims to have an education and professional interest - even responsibility - to be well versed in these topics.
It has become readily apparent that AOC is wildly, even farsically unprepared and unqualified to be in Congress as anything other than bartender or janitorial staff. Her only redeeming quality - other than making the rest of us feel like Mensa candidates - is the sheer entertainment value of listening to the gems the spew from her ignorance.
Notice even the dingbat Katie Couric is trying to keep from fainting about his breathless stupidity:
1) Home TV wasn’t widely available at that time
2) Stock market crashed in 1929
3) FDR didn’t take office until 1933
4) Biden says a leader instills confidence by knowing what they’re talking about (ROTFLOL)

While she is somewhat correct, she is also wrong. It wasn’t to keep FDR from being reelected, it was to prevent future presidents from serving more than the traditional 2 terms, but it was driven by FDR being elected to 4 terms.
