As I was taking deep breaths and preparing myself to make my case to the crowd, I felt two hands on my shoulders. I froze. “Why is the vice-president of the United States touching me?”
I felt him get closer to me from behind. He leaned further in and inhaled my hair. I was mortified. I thought to myself, “I didn’t wash my hair today and the vice-president of the United States is smelling it. And also, what in the actual fuck? Why is the vice-president of the United States smelling my hair?” He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head.
I thought smelled brimstone & sulphur!

Nope. Obama is the elder statesman now, working behind the scenes to steer the party. He didn't buy a house in DC for nothing! And he's pulling for Kamala Harris.
Hillary is persona non-grata. She lost to Trump.
Now I can’t hold my dog like that, who is 15 and totally lost her sight, so I have to carry her outside to pee & poop.

They are so utterly convinced that Anybody But Trump will win in 2020 that it’s like a “primary” in San Francisco or Chicago, the real fight, with the (R) vs the Democrat being merely a formality.
Please, Please, Please Lord let them remain convinced so. There is nothing better than being underestimated, and nothing more stupid than underestimating your enemy.

But with the pending uber-thick field of contestants for the Democrat Nomination, I think they are trying to weed out the undesirables.
Biden - Too Creepy and too old
Sanders - Too old and now compared to the rest of the field, too conservative
Warren - I have yet to see the Deep State go after her but we all know her Pocahontas past will pull her down
Booker - “Spartacus” His actions during the Cavenaugh hearings will look real bad in a general election
Beto - He is the other hidden pick I think the DNC Deep State have. The short version is the Democrats are projecting him as the next Kennedy. Writing a story about running over kids and poop jokes and the fact that he couldn’t beat Cruz in Texas and you think he can beat Trump on a national stage?
Harris - I think she is the hidden pick. For a group that lives and dies with identity politics. She is black, she is a woman and most importantly she slept her way to the top.
I think she checks off all the boxes for what the Dems want in a candidate for President
The rest of the field IMHO do not have any major national exposure prior their joining the race. Its a super crowded field, Hickenlooper just to get some media attention decided to let the world know that he took his Mama to see Deep Throat.
Old school democrats would have been more prone to vote for Biden, than for the socialist wackos, so having him out gives us a better edge. The DNC apparently want a female, preferably black, bonus points if a lesbian (but a candidate militantly in favor of LGBTQRSTUVWXYZ issues will do in a pinch) and triple bonus points if she can find a transgender running mate. The horror would be if ANY of these wackos were elected. Pray without ceasing.
This is going to be a LOT of fun watching them destroy one another.
But then ‘She Who Shall Not Be Named’ is going to swoop in and save the day. Put money on it!
