Pakistan: Islamic scholar rapes his 15-year-old sister at mosque, swears her to silence on the Qur’an
The book on which she swore silence says: “Men have authority over women because Allah has made the one superior to the other, and because they spend their wealth to maintain them. Good women are obedient. They guard their unseen parts because Allah has guarded them. As for those from whom you fear disobedience, admonish them and send them to beds apart and beat them.” — Qur’an 4:34
So what could the girl do but obey? It is good, however, that she didn’t acquiesce to this oppression, and reported this Muslim scholar when she could. Will she be safe now?

A Muslim scholar and his two brothers have been arrested for allegedly raping their child sister and swearing her to silence on the Koran in Pakistan.
The religious scholar is alleged to have raped his 15-year-old sister at a mosque last Friday, police in Islamabad said.
Police said the three brothers – aged between 22 and 30 – told their sister to stay quiet in the name of the Koran.
They were hauled into custody and remanded at the Adiala jail on Thursday….
According to the authorities, the victim – the youngest of nine siblings from Bannu – lived with her brothers after their parents died.
She was said to have first been raped two years ago by one of the suspects, the Karachi daily reported.
The girl was subsequently raped three times by another suspect and then most recently at the mosque, the police claimed

Maybe that’s what we ought to do to Muslims that want to “migrate” to the USA. Make them swear on the Quran they are here to assimilate. Oh wait, Taqiyya will allow them to do that and renege later with no consequence for that.
All the more reason to keep them in their own countries!

A religious difference here: Christian priests have broken their religious vows and Chritian scriptures when committing such acts, and they know it, while these Muslim men acted on a basis that their religion did not condemn what they were doing, and they even used the book of their scriptures to seek silence from their victim.
This dichotomy of opposites comes up again and again, yet to complain about that makes one a dangerous “Islamphobe” to society.
I never understood their thinking on rape until I read Stephan Pressfield’s book about Alexander’s Afghan campaign. Their honor code predated Islam but is codified by Sharia. Since it’s the duty of all the male family members to “protect” the virtue of their women, if one is raped then they failed in their duty. That brings shame on them. As long as she lives it is a reminder of their shame. But if she brought it on herself and they kill her it’s not their fault and they have restored their honor and gotten rid of the reminder. He will of course claim she enticed him by showing an ankle so he couldn’t help himself.
