On March 27, House Democrats introduced H.R. 9, the Climate Action Now Act, which would forbid using federal funds to take any actions to advance the withdrawal of the U.S. from the Paris Agreement and would mandate President Donald Trump to submit a plan for meeting U.S. commitments under the U.N.-brokered accord.
Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.), chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, declared, Were not going to withdraw from the Paris Agreement.
Speaking at Capitol Hill press conference on Wednesday alongside House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Pallone argued that President Trumps 2017 announcement that the United States would leave the Paris Agreement undermined Americas international standing.

Owwwwww! And who has done more to keep the environment cleaner than probably anyone else? Who? And meeting standards imposed by a bunch of assclowns that are not achievable? And no doubt these UPOS CONgress critters would find the money to pay fines levied on the US for not reaching their "goals" while others just slide right by. Never "RAT-ified" so why would there be any federal funding required? Gorons been watching too much "Cli-Fi Network".

...and when he becomes president what he has to say on the subject will matter. Until then, pound sand.

I love all these irate highfalutin House Resolutions the House is passing, only to die in the Senate or be killed off with a veto. Talk about posturing.

Pretty sure we already did. Actually, we were never in the Paris agreement, as Obama didn’t deign to ask the Senate for approval. He just “decided” for us.

We’re not the audience. Elitist loons with money to burn are.

Ah, typical clueless dimblbcrats.
Europe cannot meet their goals. We have.
But then again, progressives are incapable of meeting any goal, save for making things worse.
No matter what is written, China will continue to pollute more than the sum of the rest of the world. And we will do nothing.
Bring it, dimbulbs, let’s get CW-II over and done with.
Then we can have REAL progress.

Obama didnt deign to ask the Senate for approval. He just decided for us.
Apparently, things that Obama did solely because of his authority as POTUS, eg. the Paris Accord, transgenders in the military, DACA, etc. etc. cannot be undone by President Trump because of his authority as POTUS, because Obama was also a light-worker and “god of all things” whereas ORANGE MAN BAD. Is that it?

Too bad that those who wish to pay added tax dollars on their income tax return cant pay an extra $2000 and show their sincerity to the cause. Otherwise this dog and pony show is simply an excercise in socialist redistribution of OPM.
My bet....less than 5% pony.up.
