On February 25, a pregnant mother took her 2-year-old son to the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine clinic in Tempe, Arizona because he had a fever of over 100. The doctor instructed the mother to take him to the emergency room because he is unvaccinated and she feared he could have meningitis.
The doctor called the emergency room at Banner Cardon Childrens Medical Center in Mesa to let them know the boy would be arriving.
But after leaving the doctors office, the boy showed signs of improvement. He was laughing and playing with his siblings, and his temperature moved closer to normal. Around 6:30 pm, the mother called the doctor to let her know the toddler no longer had a fever and she would not be taking him to the emergency room.
In Arizona, parents may decline vaccinations for their child based on personal, religious, or medical exemptions, but the mother was still concerned that the Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) would come after her. One cant blame her for being afraid, as unvaccinated families have been targets of dystopian crackdowns and witch hunts of late.

Are you seriously comparing this to abortion?
You are sick.

I don’t understand. Aren’t you saying that the mother always knows what’s best for her child?
You’re the one who wants them sent to death camps.
They are sick in the head, and from what I see at least two people on this forum are all in for a dictatorship.
Youre the one who wants them sent to death camps.

Thanks for early on in the discussion letting me your level of debate.
Disagree with you, and you’re a Nazi. The irony is strong with this one.
It was not over a vaccine - it was over a case of suspected meningitis which is contagious.
Parents rights to not vaccinate end where my rights to protect my children from communicable diseases starts. That is, outside the gate of that non-vaccinating parents home. So I have no problem with unvaccinated children/adults staying home/out of public areas when there’s an outbreak.
if parents want to operate under Darwin Rules with their childrens health, that’s something they’ll have to deal with when their kids sue them when they’re 18, if they live that long.
Which is why Americans have to keep being dangerously vaccinated for everything: foreigners constantly reintroduce diseases we've eradicated here. It would be better if everyone on Earth got vaccinated at the same time because then no future generation would need that vaccine. But injecting 8 billion people with any vaccine would always kill and injure some. In a free world every parent should have to right to accept or decline that risk.
To: NRxJust curious if you'd ever heard this, and if it's not too personal a question, does your son have that mutation?
Vaccines arent safe for all people, especially those with MTHFR gene mutations, so please keep your mandatory GOVERNMENT vaccinations away from my family.

How does someone know they have that mutation? Is there a test for it? Just curious.

Yes there is a simple test for the MTHFR gene mutation, and since nearly 90% of autistic kids have the mutation its worth it to do, even if its an out of pocket expense.

I have a young grandson and would like to know if there is trusted data about this. I'd trust any FReeper more than google, any day.
Thanks!
As you well know, vaccines are not 100% effective; however, no vaccine is 100% ineffective. Sort of like the inverse of the difference between abstinence and birth control.
“Yes there is, because you are sick in the head.”
You are very brave with your biography hidden.
If they were worried about contagions, why did they place all the children in separate foster homes?
You might be very uneducated with vaccines.
Perhaps a move to China is in order, or some other communist garbage heap you’d be more comfortable in.
There are many harmful effects about vaccines, and I wasn’t aware of many until after my son had a very close call the last time he got some. I won’t ever take those risks again, I choose to trust God.
Wow, what an asinine comment.
That's not what I was writing about.
I was saying if you're going to go off on a tear and call for the executions of parents, then you shouldn't get all sensitive and say "oh please be polite with me, you're being mean and unfriendly" when people hit back.
That's all. If I had kids I'd probably get them vaccinated after doing my own research into the issue and consulting with a lot of people, then reach my own conclusion.
I MIGHT even call for the executions of parents who didn't vaccinate their kids, or not.
But the point is if I DID call for their executions, as you did, and somebody came back at me hard, I would not then plead for civility. If you want civility, make your case without calling for executions. Or call for executions, and expect responses back at you along the same lines.
That's all! This is not that important to me. It's just that I was casually reading the thread and I read your reply to some people who came back at you hard and I thought 'are you kidding me, you call for them to be executed then you chide them for not being polite over a so called 'difference of opinions?'
If our difference of opinion was that you thought I should be executed, I think you're the one who took it past 'polite difference of opinion.' 'sall I'm sayin to ya.
... nothing to do with vaccines ... everything to do with not being self aware.
I guess the father who called the cops should have answered the door when the cops came. Duh!
it was initially reported as 105, lethargic 2yo, with the alternative medicine DR ordering the mother to take the child to the nearest ER for further eval, fearing (viral) meningitis symptoms. The dr followed up with the ER and was told the child hadn’t arrived. The ER and the dr followed up with the mother who reported to the doc that the child was fine and then stopped answering her phone. After a 105 in-office temp, the child’s appearance at the office, and the knowledge there were other sick children in the home, the doc may not have believed her and called Child Welfare for a welfare check. Child Welfare got a ‘neglect/abuse’ warrant, which brought the police into it, to meet the Child Welfare person at the home.
There was some argument over the Child Welfare person being able to see the children. The end result was all three children were removed. I’m guessing the children are on medicaid, and so, ultimately, quasi-wards of the state. Which gives the state a rather large hand in ‘parenting’. So, if a medical pro, even an alternative medicine one, tells you to take your kid to the ER, you do it. Hanging up on callers and then not answering the phone is a sure-fire way to get people to show up at your door.
Thankfully, we’re not dealing with Darwin’s rules. We are dealing with God’s our creator, and the creator of all things.
