The Trump administration has chosen counterterrorism expert and former Fox News contributor Morgan Ortagus to be the new State Department spokeswoman, three people with knowledge of the decision told NBC News.
Ortagus, a Naval Reserve officer, would bring significant experience in national security and foreign policy to the role. She will replace Heather Nauert, a former Fox News anchor who had been announced as President Donald Trump's pick for United Nations ambassador but later withdrew herself from consideration.

Never been impressed with her.
Only heard her on radio?
Good choice! For anything!
YOW-zuh....
See her occasionally on The Five. I like her commentaries and opinions.
Maybe Trump’s answer to Tulsi (the only female Democrat who’s running that does break every mirror she walks past). If so, GREAT JOB!!!
She is smart, attractive.
Good qualities.
I won’t mind voting for Ortagus in 2024.
A beautiful conservative woman in 2024—is probably what the GOP needs in 2024——NO Javanka.
You think Warren, Harris could deal with her smartness?

I love Morgan and am happy for her,but will miss seeing her on Fox News.
She was on Greg gutfield last week. Leather halter top very booby lots of lipstick. I know the guys like it but... ick
Trump keeps getting all the FOXy ladies.
She’s a total babe. She’d make a great spy.
Ideologically I think she's a centrist, a bit naive and simplistic. I've seen her commentaries on Fox News. Other than physically, I'm not impressed.
Ahem.
HUBBA HUBBA!
Thank you.
