It turns out New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo isn’t the only prominent Democrat who questions whether America was ever that great.
In pointed terms during an interview with MSNBC on Wednesday, Obama-era attorney general Eric Holder posed the question to MAGA-chanting Trump supporters: "Exactly when did you think America was great?"

The comments echoed those of Cuomo, who took heavy criticism for remarking last year that America “was never that great.” Together, both off-the-cuff comments amount to stunning statements from public figures who until recently were considered potential presidential candidates. In both cases, the Democrats took shots at America's past as part of an effort to criticize President Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.
After speaking during Wednesday's MSNBC interview with Holder on topics like criminal justice reform and partisan redistricting – which the ex-AG says is now his focus instead of running for the White House in 2020 – host Ari Melber had asked him: “There is a lot of talk about America being a leader as a democracy, quote unquote, in the 1800s when women and African-Americans couldn’t vote. What kind of democracy is that?”
Holder, unprovoked, then used his answer to tear into Trump's campaign rally cry.
"That's exactly right. And that's what I hear these things about 'let’s make America great again' and I think to myself, ‘exactly when did you think America was great’?” he said on the show.

- ended slavery
- first saved the world from German domination
- created a powerful economy
- saved the world again
- shielded the world from nuclear annihilation
- put a man on the moon and explored the solar system
- created the atomic bomb
- turned the atomic bomb into a means of peaceful energy production
- created the digital economy

Trillions not billions
I would say that life was great in America many times. In my life it was growing up in Chicago in the 50s, before Kennedy was killed.
but I would think America was great after we won the Revolutionary war, and after the Civil war and after WW! and WWII, don’t know.
I only know that one has to spend a few hours watching liberal media to know how bad it COULD be now. We’re one click away from it being worse.
America certainly wasn’t great when Eric and Obama were handing out guns (FAST AND FURIOUS)to Mexican drug dealers and attempting to make it appear that Americans were supplying the guns that fueled the Mexican drug cartels. Their ultimate goal was to inflict more gun control on innocent citizens. They got caught but a corrupt federal justice department covered for them. The same DOJ that tried to overthrow President Trump.
It was great until stinking rotten scum traitor progressive slime came on the scene.

Tell us why you think America stinks, even though I personally don’t care what you think/say. Then get the h3ll out of here (maybe you like Cuba or Venezuela), NOBODY WANTS YOU HERE.
