“Harvard University Will Remove Portraits of Former President to Make Students Happy”
Impossible, some people want to be upset.
I’m okay with removing Carter, Clinton,Bush 43 and Obama.
Harvard cheaters.
Then destroy his house theyre in too.
Oh wait - theyll happily take and consume his gifts from his hard earned work.
Hypocrites all.
Just another huge win to make those incompetent of any real accomplishments feel important.
These snowflakes are making ME upset. Why can’t we just remove THEM?
When ALL references to slavery are finally removed from our culture, we will ALL BE SLAVES..........................
Harvard ranks right down there with the New York Times.
If you have a business that charges $250 000 cash that people are willing to kill to sign up for, and what you are selling them is basically a piece of paper, you had better keep them happy.
But pictures of Che, Mao and Lenin are ok I bet.
Were I a hiring manager, I'd be very reluctant to consider a recent Harvard grad. They'd be more interested in tearing down the institution that hired them than trying to fit into it and helping it thrive, based on how they deal with being at Harvard.
The notion of protecting students from anything and everything that “offends them” is abusive to them as it hinders their growth as a person. Living in a free and democratic society, everyone is exposed to ideas and people with which we do not agree. It is necessary for children from young ages to be exposed bit by bit to various opinions which may not agree with other people. It is how we grow as individuals.
(I suspect this is the REAL reason for ‘grievance studies’... ‘rich daddy’ loser kids can get a degree without having think or make effort.)
Anyone still impressed with Harvard and their pay to play ethics?
Isn't this routinely done under the guise of Affirmative Action?

You know, there’s a very good chance that if these students had attended Harvard between 1909 and 1933 they would have completely agreed with Lowell.
People look back at the past and say, “Well, I would have thought differently and I would have fought against that!” No. As a product of that time you would have most likely gone right along with things and you would not have been some sort of hero just like odds are you are not heroic now.
Crimson is just another shade of red.
Humm. I wonder when Princeton will remove Woodrow Wilson’s portrait?
When will Harvard disgorge all the unjust enrichment they got from slavery? Many of the early Founders and donors to Harvard made their money from slave trading. Harvard has profited from this blood money for centuries. Accounting for inflation, it would easily run well into the billions of dollars today.
Will Massachusetts also rename the town named after him?? Idiots!
Begin fighting socialism and communism in our universities. If they or their students don’t like our former presidents, and remove our history from their walls, pull all of our TAX PAYERS dollars from those “schools of so-called education.
