Things in DC are about to get ugly. Big ugly. Two MAGA freight trains are heading full-speed toward each other and there ain’t no spur between em’.
The conductor of one engine is HPSCI ranking member Devin Nunes who will be sending criminal referrals to AG Barr next week based on existing evidence and testimony. The conductor of the opposing engine is Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, who wants AG Barr to ignore the criminal referrals and instead launch another Special Counsel which will be guaranteed to carry into the 2020 election year.
Both are not backing down. Lindsey Graham had dinner tonight with AG Barr to pressure him for his side. Lindsey Graham also has the ear of the President…. Devin Nunes has no access to President Trump to give him advice to ignore Lindsey Graham. Whoever wins the influence battle will determine the 2020 election.

Perhaps Barr can and will use a couple of slam-dunk criminal prosecutions as a launching pad toward the appointment of a Special Counsel. Go after a few low- to mid-level demorat dirtbags and offer them reduced sentences (but not immunity) in exchange for additional evidence against some of the bigger players that were a little more savvy in concealing their involvement in the myriad crimes that are known to have occurred.
A special prosecutor can begin with Barack Hussein Obama and work down from there

Did Graham actually say that he wants an investigation launched for the purpose of influencing the 2020 election? Or did the author somehow guess this?
Our very successful President Trump doesn’t need an investigation of the dems to “help” with the 2020 election. That was the Demtards playbook for 2018. What I think we need is some prosecutors to get the ball rolling for some damn justice right now!

I'd like to think so too, but we haven't seen hide nor hair and his investigative powers are very limited.

The coup d’etat was vast, involved POTUS Obunghole and cannot be handled piecemeal. It screams special prosecutor with a huge budget.
Both work well together. Nunes gets the info out there so we can do like the left did and just say shit for 2 years. Meanwhile a special prosecutor works on the real hammer.
