“Decency”—synonymous with “moral?”

This may not be a bad thing entirely, in the sense that it is an ill wind that blows no man good.

Just as Trump's total clear on collusion charges lays bare the lies of the media, so does this lay bare the hypocrisy of the victim movement.

Those in the middle on these issues, or at least many of them, who couldn't make up their minds before (don't ask me why), should clearly feel the direction of the wind.

They tend not to talk about their beliefs. Being in the middle is generally a sign of a weak mind (or just not knowing the issues,) and these are exactly the ones most easily silenced by the threat from the left of speaking out.

Making a silent inner decision that 'well, this IS total crap', it will never be able to be measured, but it will surface in the voting booth and as a lack of political support and sympathy for the lefties.

GW said after winning the second term "I've got a lot of political capital and I'm going to spend it." In this case of Jussuh! ... the left is spending a LOT of political capital. Let them spend, what do they get for it? They merely reveal themselves to the dunderheaded undecideds, who are now a little less undecided.

A corallary though not perfectly related saying to all this is: "Don't spill your candy in the lobby." This is a big candy spill.

I think this is a good development.

For years democrat politicians have gotten away with criminal behavior, the worst that happened to them was they had to resign. The only exception is if they crossed another democrat, then the blood sport would come into play. But people just shrugged and falsely attributed that to the system being rigged in favor of all politicians of both parties (wrong, just dems).

But here we see a highly visible case where it's 100% obvious the guy did it, tried to frame others for racial reasons, and he gets off because he's part of a protected class. Now it's not just politicians, it's any SJW leftist NPC that is allowed to go scott free for obvious crimes while regular people get harassed over things that shouldn't even be crimes. It makes it clear, there are two levels of justice right now and most Americans are on the wrong side of it. Maybe it wakes some of them up.

Talk about a charade. Anyone who believes Clintonista Emanuel calling Smollett out is only fooling themselves. Emanuel and the rest of the Chicago city council and police never had any intention to bring charges against that racebaiting loser. Another setup and coverup brought to you by Windy City Rats Incorporated!

Reminder: @JussieSmollett is still under federal investigation by FBI for sending white powder to his workplace.https://t.co/K6OYZIJdit— Captain Obvious (@CaptObvious63) March 26, 2019

Smollett isn't off the hook yet. The FBI is still investigating the letter he sent himself at work. If the FBI interviews Smollett, then he's either lying to investigators or confessing to the hoax. Either way he can still be prosecuted federally. 👌— Hategraphs (re-follow) (@purehategraphs) March 27, 2019

Another celeb buys their way out of jail. His lawyer clearly knew who to throw a few bucks to. Actually, I suspect that a few gay city officials had a little party with Smollett in return for making his case disappear.

And Smollett, being the blithering idiot that he is, holds a press conference and takes a victory lap. Anybody with the IQ of a carrot would’ve mumbled that “the system worked” on the way to a waiting black car and disappeared into the urban haze. What’s really sad is that this utter moron probably did increase his chances at getting a new job (since his old one was getting ready to dump him). He’s a walking PR nightmare but Hollywood is full of leftist idiots, I’m sure he’ll do just fine.

No, there’s no decency in the man, just like there’s no decency in liberalism. Jussie, the no-class fag and that asshat liberal who threw the case out makes that perfectly clear.

Blah blah blah. I feel as though this man and others believe that if they make the right noises, these noises will be taken as facts instead of the facts that this man Smollett perpetrated a fraud to benefit himself that is a hate crime. That he cost the public high six-figures in police resources. That he is only paying back $10,000 and a few hours of community service likely making matters worse.

This to me looks like nothing but crisis management to try to save political Chicago’s image.

Rahm is probably right on this particular statement but....

a broken clock is still right twice a day

....
what’s significant is that we’ve just been lectured by Rahm about morality, ethics

what next? Obama/Soroz/Pelousy lecturing us about morals?
(well, Pelousy does it quite frequently, always 180 degrees off target, of course)

next, we’ll be preached at about peace and brotherhood... by Abbas/PLO/Hamaz, and we’ll be preached at about honesty by HilLIARy

The boy almost started a race war that would have resulted in at least seven Walmarts being pillaged and destroyed and he gets off by paying a ten thousand dollar bribe. That’s bull****.
