Pelosi, Schumer Joint Statement On Attorney General Barr’s Summary Of The Mueller Report

March 24, 2019

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer released the following statement regarding Attorney General Barr’s summary of the Mueller report:

“Attorney General Barr’s letter raises as many questions as it answers. The fact that Special Counsel Mueller’s report does not exonerate the president on a charge as serious as obstruction of justice demonstrates how urgent it is that the full report and underlying documentation be made public without any further delay. Given Mr. Barr’s public record of bias against the Special Counsel’s inquiry, he is not a neutral observer and is not in a position to make objective determinations about the report.

“And most obviously, for the president to say he is completely exonerated directly contradicts the words of Mr. Mueller and is not to be taken with any degree of credibility.

“Congress requires the full report and the underlying documents so that the Committees can proceed with their independent work, including oversight and legislating to address any issues the Mueller report may raise. The American people have a right to know.”

On what evidence do they have to say he obstructed justice, other than they say so??

Can all the Rat’s base be this obtuse?

(On the other hand I got together with some left leaning friends this weekend and none of them have ever even heard of Uranium One. Lordy.)

Always a “statement together”, Can they not do anything alone? It looks very silly when they do this. I hope they continue.

“The fact that Special Counsel Mueller’s report does not exonerate the president on a charge as serious as obstruction of justice demonstrates how urgent it is that the full report and underlying documentation be made public without any further delay.”

Likely the Mueller report says obstruction may have occurred and will cite as evidence the firing of Comey and several public statements by POTUS.

Of course it’s all BS.

It will leave unaddressed whether a POTUS may fire a FBI Director for any reason he damn well pleases. And that a POTUS ALSO has first amendment rights to speak publicly on any subject...as he damn well pleases.

Question for Pelosi and Schumer: why would President Trump obstruct justice to interfere with an investigation that he knew was baseless?

Mark Meadows said it best on twitter: Mark Meadows ‏Verified account @RepMarkMeadows 16m16 minutes ago My Democrat colleagues keep seizing on this line that the Mueller report “doesn’t exonerate” the President. Folks, prosecutors don’t exonerate people. They either find evidence or they don’t. They looked for 22 months and found none. It isn’t there. No collusion, no obstruction.

They’ll keep this up until they’re both in the ground. And Auntie Marxine will want to file for impeachment if she can so much as produce a witness who’ll swear they saw Trump pick his nose and flick the nugget in the Oval Office waste can. Schiff-For-Brains, Jerrold The Hutt, all of them. These people are so desperate, they’re dangerously demented. I’m no psychologist, but I know batshit crazy when I see it. I don’t know what the definitive threshold is for sedition or subversion is, but it’s gotta be within spitting distance by now.

Democrats are so concerned about transparency. Its not the truth they’re after.

The President was cleared of collusion and obstruction and Democrats are unable to accept the facts presented to the country.

Keep in mind they pushed for this investigation and that now that’s its over, they simply don’t like the outcome.

"Do I have to be exonerated of robbing a house when there was never any proof or reason to believe I did?"

How about when there was never a robbery in the first place?

How about when an even larger robbery was committed by the people accusing you?

They are really hamming it up, now. To the average person, it’s becoming annoying. They completely over-did it this time, I think.

Maybe, just maybe, Nancy Pelosi will open up some investigation about Hillary Clinton and her part in colluding with Russia to get elected. This probably is what we can expect. They want transparency, and get to the bottom of it all. Let’s check now the Democratic Candidate for the Presidential election and see what Mueller can find.
