Hillary would not let $8 million flow from her campaign coffers without knowing what it was spent for. She almost certainly had to have known. Too bad no reasonable prosecutor would make a case against her for what appeared to be criminal mishandling of classified material. I know had I done the sane, I would probably have spent a year in jail.
