NO LONGER SERVING MILITARY PERSONNEL & THEIR GUEST(S), Double Tree Employees Posted
One hotel guest, Justin Vames, posted the sign to his personal Facebook page saying his group of over 600 people were treated like crap during a post deployment ceremony celebration.
These men and women were being honored for serving our country, but I guess serving them at the double tree is too much! Just so you know, we did not damage the building and there was no reason to treat us this way!, said Vames.
Vames is a retired in 2015 after serving as an ISAF Ammo Team Chief.
According to the local KOAA news station, the hotel has issued an apology and fired the two employees involved in the incident. The hotels General Manager, Daniel Kammerer, said in the apology, Two Supervisor-level employees, who have since been terminated, made poor decisions including displaying a sign that they created, which we find very offensive. Their actions were in no way associated with the values of the hotel management.

Colorado Springs is home to several military bases including, Air Force Base FBD, Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Base, Peterson Air Force Base, and Schriever Air Force Base.
CA refuse has destroyed this beautiful state.
They deserved to be fired.
Doubletree did the right thing.
I have to read up on this.
Firing two folks wont nearly be enough of an action to stop major $$ loss to the place.
A sizable donation to a legit veterans organization would help.
Those two that got fired deserve to be shamed, as well.
The deep state thing would have been to release the names and addresses of those fired.
Yup. I thought the pic went viral. Then again, I am ALWAYS wary if companies do “really” fire the leftard pukes who commit such stupidity..
Shouldn’t Doubletree post their Pictures, Addresses and Cell Phone Numbers too, just to be Fair!
DoubleTree Colorado Springs should make amends, free reparations to all future military personnel and guests. Heavily discounted food and drinks, and extra service. And employee training to prevent discrimination against military personnel. And a picture of the two supervisor-level fired employees with a statement that the bad employees are banned for life from hotels.
Some business still has business ahead of (Marxist) politics? Capitalist pigs!
Does it really need a sarcasm tag?
Fort Carson, Air Force Academy....
I would just have the CO’s issue an order that the Doubletree is off limits to all military personal. Sit MP’s outside; and call the media and tell them about their treatment to military. Should be good to go them.
How did those losers get hired in the first place?
Someone took “The Great Santini” literally.

So let me understand. To you EVERYONE who lives in California is a Piece of $HIT? Why don’t you drop Jim Robinson a note and let him know that that’s how you see ALL of us here in CA.
those two who were fired do not recognize the concept of shame, so your idea will not work.
Well you know how it is, it only takes a few rotten apples to spoil the barrel.
