Cal Thomas is an old time RINO establishment type who took it from years from the RATS. Kudos to Trump, for telling it like it is. He has good reason to despise McCain. McCain served in the war and was shot down as were hundreds of others. He also served in the senate and was a disloyal, fraudster, and traitor to the people who put him there.
Too late, the President tried that. The McCain’s, especially John, were and are, horrible people. No, the cheek was turned once, time to fight
The loser McCain who in a fit of temper got shot down in Vietnam, was a conspirator in the plot to overthrow the presidency.
It would not be right to lie about the harms McNoName brought to the country. Yes he served our country, but not all of his service was honorable - especially his post-military career. Political Correctness is a lie to start with, and “not speaking ill of the dead” can only go so far.
He writes that major parts of the dossier have been verified? How despicable.
Trump knows what McCain did to to him with the fake dossier.
Working with the democrats and undermining the country.
I would be upset too.
President Trump should continue to criticize Senator McCain’s misdeeds, always with a factual basis. But he should not criticize the man. Not because McCain doesn’t deserve it. Because criticizing the man gives the maniacs an excuse to glorify and sanitize the POW and military service experiences of McCain.
No. Trump knows exactly what he is doing and why.
Cal is exposing himself. So many have been exposed by Trump, now another one.
I get that complaining about someone who is dead and no longer has the ability to take back the stupid thing they did is regarded as pointless. The problem is that Trump is still dealing with McCain’s crap. I wouldn’t doubt that McCain died with a smile on his face because of it.
There is such a thing as venting, and the fact remains that to some degree this whole long drawn-out thing that has cost the taxpayers millions if not billions in addition to a tremendous amount of social cohesiveness is McCain’s fault. There is nothing that you can do to him because he is dead, but this is still his fault. The absolute only good that can come out of this is to learn from the mistakes of the past so you don’t repeat them in the future. You cannot do that if you are muzzled and can’t complain about the stupid thing someone did because they are dead.
John McPain ran, campaigned, on getting rid of ObamaDOESNTcare. But then when he had the opportunity to vote to get rid of it as it is, he didn’t do that. I have no respect for him, dead or alive. 5 or our kids have no health insurance. Too expensive. Sure you can force a company to provide health insurance, but they can make your co pay that you pay for having the insurance however high they want it. For our daughter it ws going to be $2K a month. They only made about $5K a month. THey couldn’t afford it. Then there was the annual deduction and the co pay for each office visit/medical procedure/drug. Co pay on drugs varies wildly, even with insurance. Our other son hasn’t had health insurance since ObamaCare started. He is 34, single and healthy. They wanted him to py $244 a month for California health insurance on their ObamaCare exchanges. His policy HAD to cover birth control pills, maternity, pediatric.... he is a SINGLE MAN.
I have no respect for the late McPain. Maybe he suffered brain damage.
We elected a man.
An actual man with balls.
America has enemies that need total, crushing defeat. John McCain was one of those enemies. There are many more.
So either strap on your plastic nut sack, or go away, Little Girly Cal.
Call Thomas — chief virtue signaler in chief who lectures mostly Republicsns.
All this, of course, before he married a beer baron's daughter and became the most corrupt politician in the US.
No he shouldn’t. Trump should be who he is. Anything else would just be an act and a complete disrespect to those of us who support him.
I guess this shouldn’t surprise us—coming from a columnist who considered TED KENNEDY a close friend. I remember his column from the early 90s which posited that “the youngest Kennedy could be the greatest Kennedy”. Whatever that meant . . .
Oh, give it up already. That is not Trump's temperament. He enjoys a fight. It stimulates him and makes him feel more alive. There are just some people like that. Let Trump be Trump
