LUKE AIR FORCE BASE, Ariz. — Sen. Martha McSally (R-Ariz.) spoke with President Trump about the late Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) on Wednesday, after days of unprecedented attacks by a sitting president on a dead war hero. McSally, addressing reporters after a meeting with base commanders here Thursday, expanded on a tweet she sent Wednesday in which she called McCain a hero. The tweet did not mention Trump, and in her remarks Thursday she again refrained from criticizing the president.
"I made it clear, I love John McCain. John McCain is an American hero. This state reveres John McCain, and his family deserves respect by everybody," McSally, who was appointed to the Senate seat once held by McCain late last year after she lost her own Senate race to Democrat Kyrsten Sinema, said of her conversation with Trump.

Looks like McSally is setting herself up to lose to Astronaut Mark Kelly (husband of Gabby Giffords, the Congresswoman who was shot in the head).
Martha ought to have learned the lesson to be more loyal and supportive of President Trump.
Now, Arizonans are in endanger of surrendering their second amendment rights.
Never forget Hillary paid for the dossier. Good old Ted (needs a girlfriend who can swim) and Mcain were friends. If it walks like a duck etc etc.
I am so weary of these people who CONTINUE to put lipstick on that pig. How about STHU & ALLOW PRESIDENT TRUMP TO HAVE HIS OWN OPINIONS??!! Not everything needs to be presented to opinion groups before an OFFICIAL OPINION is reached.
Trump spent the last two years defending himself against baseless charges in large measure due to what McCain did. I don’t give a crap about respecting “the dead”, he was a POS.
Really, if I could piss on his grave and get away with it my life would be complete.

Exactly. Notice the absence of any McCain supporters admonishing his obvious attempt to sabotage Trump, or his obvious stompy-foot vote against Obamacare repeal? I respect his service to our country, but the man acted out on his hatred/jealousy of Trump and for that, I have no respect.
One is supposed to respect the President of the United States.
“Saint McCain” didn’t respect President Trump when he sought out copies of the fake dossier and passed them around the media and FBI in order to prompt a phony investigation witch hunt.

Some say Gov. Doug Ducey appointed McSally to see her lose in the special 2020 election, then he runs for the seat in a 2022 midterm and beats the AZ Democrat (Kelly or Gallego or Terry Goddard), he then runs for president in 2024 or 2028.....
I can see myself voting for Doug Ducey for president in 2024 or 2028......

Most of us knew McCain was involved in pushing the dossier, but now that it's been verified in the news, that he and his aide actively pushed it to just about everyone they could, there's nothing wrong with the President tweeting those facts, whether McCain is dead or not. No one in the main stream media is going to report it, so Trump uses the platform that works best for him to get his message out.
