The federal government says the man who killed a sheriff’s deputy and wounded a police officer in a central Washington state shootout was in the United States illegally.
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency said Thursday that 29-year-old Juan Manuel Flores Del Toro, who also died as a result of the shootout, was a citizen of Mexico.

If we’re to believe the statistic I hear bandied about by the left all the time, then 40 or so American citizens killed a cop on that same day.

Ellensburg Police Capt. Dan Hansberry said Wednesday that the suspect died at a hospital.
And these POS a-hole activists and politicians call Border Patrol the murderers. This country is really f-ed up.

Not necessarily. Where is the sheriff of this county with respect to the enforcement of the state’s sanctuary and anti-gun laws? No one wants to see anyone die (well, there are exceptions, like Ruthie Ginsberg and a few others), but if this sheriff doesn’t support the Constitution, the dead LEO’s family should take him to task.
KITTITAS COUNTY — The sheriff of Kittitas County says the recent gun law initiative passed by voters is riddled with problems and he has instructed his deputies to do no enforcement.
Sheriff Gene Dana says he’s gotten a lot of questions about I-1639 recently and wanted to clarify his position.
The sheriff’s office sent out a press release Friday morning.
He writes that the sheriff’s office simply can’t apply most of the provisions as written in the law.
The sheriff specifically referenced the part of the law instructing law enforcement to criminally charge someone if, without their knowledge, someone steals their gun and uses it to commit a crime. The sheriff writes, “we will not do this.”

Thanks for the clarification. Glad that there are sheriff’s in WA who still respect and enforce only those laws which are Constitutional.
Last I read, 20 out of 39 county sheriffs were not going to enforce 1639.
I’m literally getting nauseous over these incidents. All authorities and politicians should be arrested as accessories to murders for not enforcing immigration laws. They take an oath to uphold the Constitution and then immediately break that oath. Somewhere out there some Federal judges need to issue warrants for their arrest. And when convicted, which shouldn’t be that hard to do, they should be deported and exiled. We’re living in an age of lawlessness and it can’t stand if we care to exist as a civil society. If this continues without any consequences then it is our duty as Patriots to change the government. It is demanded of us in the Declaration of Independence and we would be derelict if we stand by and let our country be assaulted by devious subversives. Read the part of the Declaration of Independence where there’s a greviance about the Kings soldiers letting Indians assaulting farmers on the frontiers. Has anything changed? No! The only thing I can suggest now is to forcibly let your representatives know how you feel and remind them of their duty. After that then there’s only one thing left to do and that is an armed revolt. At this point what other choice do we have?
