A great joke going around here in MA way back then had to do with the Big Dig.
Spending $24 Billion to depress the Central Artery was a waste. Could depress it for free by having Dukakis go downtown and make a speech to it.

Funny Story: I spoke last week at a groundbreaking ceremony for our new courthouse As the Chairman of our County Board of Supervisors. They passed me a hardhat to put on and all I could hear was my father laughing at “Little Michael Dukakis and saying, NEVER WEAR FUNNY HATS. (I wore it. I looked stupid.)
Dukakis is fun to laugh at, and he was dumb to get near that tank, but he was a class act compared to the current batch of dirt-bag open-border Democrats.
I recall not long ago that somebody put a Texas hat on Trump. He looked might good in that tall hat!

Good joke! Born and raised in Mass. Glad I’m gone, but I remember the sour puss on Dukakis. Very hard for the guy to smile.
I guess Trump made his comment to stir his animals and see once again the picture of Dukakis in a tank... I forget what the fuss was about with the tank.
In the same situation, Trump would get a publicity stunt out of it — maybe fire the tank gun and shoot a Russian fighter out of the sky. LOL.

Trump isn’t a draft - dodger. He was drafted by the American People to be Commander in Chief, a higher rank than Dukakis ever thought of achieving.
