The national Sunday morning talk shows blamed President Trump for the New Zealand massacre that left 50 dead. CNNs Jake Tapper warned: I dont think moderate Republicans are doing enough to hold President Trump accountable for his rhetoric. NBCs Chuck Todd noted supposed parallels to the killers rhetoric, and asked: When the president uses the term invaders, does that dehumanize to the point where it can get misused?
The media made Mr. Trump its singular target, but not even Democrats were completely spared from the frenzy of critical reactions. In a viral video, an angry NYU student confronted Chelsea Clinton and blamed her rhetoric for the New Zealand massacre. What was Ms. Clintons offense? She criticized Rep. Ilhan Omar, Minnesota Democrat, for making anti-Semitic remarks.
Blaming Mr. Trump or even Chelsea Clinton is nonsensical. The media acts like mass public shootings in other countries are something new, but they are actually much more common outside of the United States. And, well before Mr. Trump became president, foreign shooting, bombing and vehicle attacks were increasing in frequency at a much faster rate.
Research by the Crime Prevention Research Center, over which I preside, shows that there were 2,354 attacks and at least 4,880 shooters outside of the United States from 1998 through 2015. This excludes incidents that occurred in the course of guerrilla or civil wars. In contrast, our country had 53 attacks and 57 shooters. By our count, the United States accounts for 1.49 percent of mass public shooting murders, 2.20 percent of attacks, and less than 1.15 percent of shooters. All of these figures are much smaller than the United States 4.6 percent share of the world population. . . .

Like I said in another thread, Trump is a national security threat!!!
He’s causing shootings and creating spies (see the article that tries to blame a spy for the Chinese on Trump) and is responsible for the rise in puppy and kitten deaths!!
Like i said in that other post, because of Trump Ive...drank too much many times, overate a slew of times, gambled too much at casinos at least 3 times, overspent on my credit cards, bought a mid life crisis Dodge Challenger, wore mismatched socks to work like a DOZEN times, costing me a promotion, and dressed like a woman twice.
and that was just his FIRST MONTH in office!!
What else can they do? Trump's economic policies are making Obama's look like the idiocy they were, and it's helping across the spectrum with lower unemployment for everyone. His foreign policy is bringing China to heel plus telling the World the US is not their piggy bank, and a whole host of other foreign policy changes. They're grasping at straws, slinging any mud they can find, and hope that some of it sticks. Sad they've been reduced to this and their shining star is an idiot who can't think beyond the script she got from the Justice Democrats.
‘Sall our fault.
ITs all our fault!
It’s ALL our Fault!
IT IS ALL OUR FAULT!
Repeat ad naseum—whatever the case, watever the problem.
It’s called “progressivism” now, don’cha know.
"# of seconds before President Trump gets blamed for _____________ (fill in the blank for whatever FAUX or ABCNNBCBS is blaming President for today, at this minute!)
Thanks to Fiddlstyx for the above sad reality
I can’t stand Chelsea but this is nuts—what reason is there to think that the shooter in NZ was even aware of what she had said or that it would have influenced him to do something he would not have done otherwise?
As the unhinged accusations against President Trump move further and further away from reality, only one explanation makes sense: Fear. Our enemies are desperate to destroy him before he takes away something very precious to them. Judging by their screams and his calm, it is apparent that he has the upper hand and his grip is tightening.
I’m buying a Hellcat and Mexico is gonna pay for it!
ROFLMAO!!
Impeach him for the children!
Impeach him for the children!

And if that fails, indoctrinate the children to do it for the Party. Then exonerate them because they are *only children* (but give them the vote).
They are evil. And, yes: frightened. They are losing and everyone knows it. The various metrics are clear:
Higher percentages of Dem *base* approve of Trump’s policies.
MSM losing viewers.
GOP winning special elections and state elections, even in blue states.
GOP critters and Senators fighting back.
*Moderate* dems cautioning against impeachment.
Some cities/states using sanctuary ideology to promote 2A and right-to-life.
I’m sure there are more signs & portents.
Lott uses facts to prove his position convincingly. The media practices in hyperbole and emotion to persuade people to believe things opposite of reality. The media are Left wing political activists. Once that fact is understood, everything they lie about makes sense.
All of these dick heads can go and eat s&&t!
I have a 17 ++ year old cattle dog who has doggie dementia who is smarter that Chuck Todd.
When dont they?
We need to coin a word which is the equivalent of “Islamophobia” to use when the left blames conservatives for violence perpetrated by nutjobs (most of whom turn out to not be conservative anyway). If we can’t blame Islam for for violence committed in the name of Islam, mostly by the perpetrators of the violence themselves (what else can they mean when hey yell “allahu akbar” when they lob bombs at people?), then certainly conservatives can’t be blamed for violence which has only the most tenuous ties to conservatism, if any at all (the left will stretch a point to force some connection, of course).
Can’t stereotype muzzies, blacks, or any group except white males when one commits violence. Even though there is statistically much more reason to make such connections. Even when those who commit the violence have explicitly made the connection themselves.
“We need to coin a word which is the equivalent of Islamophobia to use when the left blames conservatives for violence “
“America-hating douchebaggery”
“BS-reporters”
There are things going on below the radar that only people who live in a neighborhood or area can know about, and I’m sure they bode well for all that’s good and decent. They have got to lose and lose big in 2020, and the MSM will be blindsided, and melt down even worse than in 2016. And I’m going to laugh.
But I thought there’d be a red tidal wave in 2018, so don’t rest assured.
One bad bit of news is the closing of an auto plant in Ohio.
