We all saw the rumblings of this for years. Democrats want to destroy the Second Amendment, create gun registries, and eventually confiscate firearms. It wont happen in a couple of years, of course. This is the long game. Emboldened by their state-level victories in Vermont and Florida, in which the anti-gun Left was able to increase the age to purchase all firearms to 21. In Vermont, they even got Republican (and at the time pro-NRA) Gov. Phil Scott to sign off on magazine limits. As you all know, 18 years of age was the minimum for a long gun. In these states, its no longer the case. Its grossly unconstitutional and yes, the National Rifle Association is involved in legal action in Florida to get it tossed. That could take years, however.

The Nazis would be so proud.
I won’t comply.
It was beyond depressing that the GOP didn’t even take the field in the upper midewest in 18... so stuck with another 4 years of Wolf, and 6 of Casey... Shameful
New??
He was re-elected.
The GOP didn’t bother to even take the field in any of the upper midwest in 2018....

I know a Jersey boy who calls it “Pennsyltucky”. He thinks it’s an insult! LOL!
That was the name of a battleship in a Popeye cartoon. His nephew Swee’Pea wanted a toy ship but none proved big enough until Popeye “gave” him the `USS Pennsyltucky’ to play on. It was a funny cartoon.
Anyway, deer hunters in PA are like a standing army. They’ll march on Harrisburg if this whacko bill moves forward. They’re sick of one huge liberal city dominating the rest of the state as is true in many mostly rural states.

The PA State Police are supposed to destroy the background check information for gun purchases. Instead they have been maintaining the data. If the word ever goes forth to create a Pennsylvania gun registry... you as a Pennsylvania resident gun owner may already be on it.
The PSP have been questioned about this and their response is that they have the right to keep the data.
