Elizabeth Warren wants to abolish the Electoral College

Presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren on Monday night called for abolishing the Electoral College.

The Massachusetts Democrat said during a town hall on CNN that she would back a plan to scrap the process and move the country to a national popular vote.

“My view is that every vote matters,” Warren said to applause. “And the way we can make that happen is that we can have national voting and that means get rid of the Electoral College — and every vote counts.”

The electoral process, she said, effectively disenfranchises voters in states dominated by one party.

The USA is a republic not a democracy and the electoral college ensures a vote in Los Angles or New York City is as important as a vote in Madison or Kansas City.

Massive voting fraud in both states involving the registration of non citizen aliens and the harvesting of their “votes”. Soon people will lose faith in the validity of the electoral process. Fits the Left’s globalist narrative to destroy the American nation. The culture is being eroded.

Well...I want to abolish Elizabeth Warren. I think there’s a better chance of me getting my wish than she is of hers.

Well, Elizabeth, every vote counts in every state.

In our constitutional republic, when it comes to electing senators and Presidents, every STATE counts.

They don’t have to abolish it to ‘get around it’. They can do like several states have done ... say that their electoral votes go to the popular vote winner in the country. They haven’t abolished the Electoral College, but they have done an ‘end run’ around it, while still using it.

Lizzy, Lizzy, Lizzy, LIZZY! The Electoral College is there for a purpose. The Founding Fathers understood the evil men/women do especially in politics. What with those fighting to lower the voting age to 16; keeping voter IDs out; to letting illegal immigrants vote....if anything we need to honor and protect the Electoral College more today than ever.

Not “California and New York” ... “Coastal California and New York City”.

Does it bother her that where I live Democrat Lemmings hold an 8:1 registration advantage over me?

Didn't think so.

“My view is that every vote matters,”

Which is precisely why we have a Republic, an Electoral College, AND it is illegal for non-citizens to dilute the votes of citizens by participating in US elections.

What she and the rest of the left are really saying is “Every vote FOR ME matters”.

Her explanation of why she wants to demolish the electoral college is proof of just how much of a retarded moron she really is. Her complaints about the electoral college are exactly what will happen if the electoral college is abolished. Damn she’s dumb.

If I remember this correctly, each state can allocate their electors how they see fit, and most states give them all to the winner of their states popular vote anyway, so any state that is so hard to one side as to change how their electors go toward the college for presidental electors will probably have gone all that way anyway. I’m not following something. I perceived the threat to be trying to meddle in other state’s vote allocation

There’s already a movement in several states to change the internal vote allocations.

Pennsy for one, I think Ohio too.

The progressive Uniparty took the check and balance off the Senate with the 17th Amendment..completely removing the States and local elected officials...why not go after the Electoral College... the check on the Office of the President.

Next up... Term Limits... then the Uniparty swamp bureaucracy will have completed the end of the Republic and have complete control of the Federal government.

The Dims aren't even trying to hide their agenda anymore. They don't care that we know they're going to do anything and everything to steal America.

Open borders. Legalized dope to buy the dopes. Redistricting. Abolition of the Electoral College.

It's like Satan knows the end is near and is going wild.

And the RAT party? Their constituents are partying on the deck of the Titanic.

With the Electoral College , Trump did not waste his time campaigning in the West Coast . But if he needed votes the GOP turnout in those states would have been higher.

When we necessarily skip some states do we lose close House races? Then again the GOP is shut out in plenty of CA races after June primary.

I’d like to abolish Warren’s senate tenure, and that of a bunch more of her ilk.

There was one article recently that mentioned Colorado ... and its significance was as a ‘swing state’ ... which means you might pull it off in that state for one candidate (who would NEED that swing state), but the candidate could lose the election because the swing state went to the popular vote. That’s what Colorado just did, apparently ... give their Electoral College votes to the popular vote of the country.

THERE is where it would make a difference.
