Wow! This somehow slipped beneath the radar but it is highly significant considering who said it. In fact if you read just what the person said, you might even think that most of it was spoken by someone at NewsBusters. However, what is significant, is the words were uttered by former ABC News star Ted Koppel on March 7 during a discussion with Marvin Kalb at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

I’ll give Koppel credit for this, but I still remember several years ago when he spent an entire two hours berating a group of white people who had left Detroit for the suburbs. For 2 hours he called them all racists and held them personally responsible for the mess that Detroit is in. This was coming from a man who lives in a gated community outside DC that is 97 percent white, and only about .02 percent black.
He ambushed Hannity with a chopped-up, selectively edited interview, which I’m sure he does at every chance he has.
We only know about that instance because Hannity called him out about it.
He’s a preening Leftist dimwit who is balanced about nothing.

I do not think the media or the people who follow the MSM even bother to defend themselves against claims of bias anymore. The agenda is clear. We do not really need a Ted Koppel to tell us this. If you need a Ted Koppel to sway you then youre just being ignorant. The media is heart and soul of the Democratic propaganda machine.
Exactly why I DO NOT and WILL NOT read or follow anything the liberal media puts forth. I have not, nor will I watch any TV news programs (including Fox News). The media idiots are guilty of major damage to this country and need to be reigned in. I want that actual “news”, not some jerks opinion telling me what he/she wants me to be hear. Where might a new, non-biased news station be hiding?

Management and certain employees shot the guy dagger eyes. Others had pained expressions. I don’t know if they took him outside behind the dumpster or anything, but he didn’t get fired. Even the libs knew this “seminar” was BS. I remember the days when the most painful thing they would drag employees to was another TQM propaganda fest. These days, things can get downright Stalinistic.
Many years ago, Koppel gave the graduation speech at Duke University. It was in the football stadium... a large graduation.... He was on regular TV at the time and I expected “one of those” speeches. But he gave the most conservative speech I’ve heard. I was so surprised and it was a very good speech. I wanted a copy.. it was that good.
So I never found out if he was the guy on the news or the guy who gave that speech.

I always felt a tinge of that east coast liberal in night line, but what can you do, it’s practically institutional. He was old school in that his reporting really seemed motovated to expose a story, and drill down to the essentials.
It’s very little like the current activist motivations you see now where you blurt out a few facts or play a few soundbites, then go into punditry.
