Well said. I am tired of all those who have written CA off. They have no will to fight. They seem perfectly happy to leave CA to die.
Little do they know they are giving up some of the best, if not the best, ground the United States has. Whether the measure is natural resources, geographical beauty or continental defense, CA is some of the best ground we have. We did not beat Japan by sailing out of Idaho.....
People need to wise up. If true conservatism was to take root in CA (and it is possible) then the nation could be saved. Instead we get keyboard commandos, so quick to run us down, but not enough guts to fight behind enemy lines.
I don’t see them as giving it up.....rather they’re being chased out by the influx forced onto the citizens.
I have friends there who say their area now looks like it should be in mexico and no longer reflects the California they have known.
That's why they didn't tell you. If you don't know about it, you can't opt out.
And those same friends, who can they look to for help outside CA? Every time I read articles on CA, all I read is, let Mexico have it back, or I hope they secede, or we would be better of without them.
CA has many, many conservative people, and you are right, they are being run off by the influx, but where is OUR influx? If conservatives gathered country wide, and started migrating to CA, inside a few years CA could change... and it would be for the good of the whole Union.
There may be many that are illiterate, however, the majority have basic literacy; and many have more. I have worked with with immigrants since 1976.
Nothing will make these Gimme-Dats turn away from the Socialist paradise.
In Venezuela, it got to no toilet paper and no running water EXCEPT sewage and the vote was still Socialist in the last election.
What more do American parents have to endure in the way of government-sponsored debauchery before they wise up and yank their kids away from this despicable evil?
We might have won sooner if we could have. Ever hear of Harry Bridges, head of the Longshoremen during WWII? He was a Communist traitor who led the longshoremen on strike, tying up war supplies to our forces in the Pacific.
I knew one Marine Captain who said he went into battle with one round of ammunition per man because of Harry Bridges. At the time he swore he would kill him if he ever got the chance. Evidently, he thought better of it, but I'm surprised some soldier didn't.

People hate much about California’s government, even of the folks who live here. They just haven’t been given a real alternative.
When did government tax money become ok for brain washing? When they start indoctrinating children they are practicing totalitarian rule. Same as Russia, communist China, and NAZI Germany. Discrimination against the LGBT community isa wrong! So are other forms of discrimination. But after nation can not have a government that dictates beliefs.

Even on FR you will find many parents who will tell you that "their public school" is different. If you try to tell them that it is not you will be called every name in the book.
Hispanics, blacks, women, Muslims, & LGBTs are all on the same side, fighting against those toxic white males. At least that’s the Gospel according to the Democrat Party.

My vote no longer matters, because that so-called conservative icon, former California Governor Ronald Reagan, doomed my state with his Apocalyptic Amnesty in 1986 - much to my horror.

If you want to blame Californians, then start with adopted Californian Reagan, who betrayed California and America.

I live in CA. and I will NEVER forgive Reagan for what has happened to the state of CA., AZ. NM, NV., and VERY QUICKLY moving across this country!!! We are VERY CLOSE to the destruction of FL. TX.!!!

The magic word is “concerned” but what we see from around the country, we don’t have enough parents who are “concerned.” Are they all too busy earning a living? Are both parents working? Are there TWO PARENTS? Even more important are two salaries necessary or can some things be given up for the sake of the children? I didn’t go back to work until my daughter entered Jr. High or as I guess it’s known today as middle school! We did without a lot including health insurance as my husband was self employed but we made it through.
Used to live in OC where Santa Ana is and it’s definitely different - not somewhere you would want to live and probably not a chance these kids can go anywhere else to school but hey - let’s keep letting more of them into the country.
