There is a problem with accepting everyone. Students with lower aptitude do in fact lower expectations. If they don't do the work, no problem, they fail. But if they work their hearts out, passing grades are usually lowered to accommodate them. Besides that, time and discussion spent on the truly talented students diminishes.

Those truly talented students will most often will learn on their own. Who suffers the most? As with the current emphasis on passing tests, it's the average student who suffers. That child will get a B or C and pass the test with no extra attention, so they're often ignored.

It has been my experience that the C and B students are better in the long run than the A’s.............

Some people mentioned affirmative action, but did anybody really blame what Huffman, Loughlin and the others did on affirmative action?

Why even post phony stories like this?

I agree with you that very often a C or B student will be willing to work hard to achieve goals and realize that they don’t know-it-all.

Affirmative Action is collectivist redistribution. Title IX is collectivist redistribution.

Yeah, I blame them.
