I fully admit that in my previous lives as a campaign staffer, presidential campaign manager and Democrat Party official, my own lack of civility in the heat of battle has been on full display. And it wasn’t pretty. I should have been wise enough and humble enough to have listened to my mother, Jean, who so often would tell me, the third of nine children, to shut up and allow my siblings to speak, and to listen - really listen - to what they had to say. She knew I wasn’t listening so much as I was pausing before launching again into an argument. My mother tried to teach us Brazile kids a lesson we all need to heed as citizens: Listen more, talk less. Be civil to one another. Find common ground. Contempt is hatred towards others. These are the lessons and the attitude I will bring to Fox News.

If FOX wanted a liberal commentator, surely they could have found somebody not as stupid or as unethical as Brazile. With the present uproar over college cheating, you would have thought FOX would have stayed far away from her.
Smart move on her part, however, a dumb move for Fox.

Too bad the great ones (Jesse and Greg) have to be unwelcome because of those bimbos but that’s the way it is. I could even stand Juan over those others but I’d rather not!
FoxNews is upset that Democrats won't let them moderate any debates, so they hire someone who was fired from CNN for leaking debate questions to Hillary's campaign.
Didn't that just hand the Democrats the world's easiest justification for not letting FoxNews host debates? Heck, I'd love to see Trump say the same thing. "Sorry, but I won't participate in any debates hosted by FoxNews because they cannot be trusted not to leak debate questions ahead of time."
Fox Business still seems okay. But FoxNews is clearly bottom-feeding with this move.

With Rupert aging and his sons trying to turn Fox News into another mainstream (a.k.a. left wing) media outlet, it is inevitable they will kill the goose that laid the golden egg.
Fox News flourished as a fair and balanced network. You could tell the news shows from the opinion shows. Partisan opinion hosts did not hide their political bias. They would put on people from both side of an issue to hash it out. They would call out BS and falsehoods.
How things have changed.
It is now hard to separate news from opinion. Take Shepard Smith - we came to love him for his news show. But now his news show is all about left wing politics. It is neither fair nor balanced and looks much more like an MSNBC or CNN production then a Fox News production. But it is not just Shepard Smith, have a look at some of their weekend news anchors - what a disaster, who do we trust.
It is not a matter of if the news anchors are left or right wing - we never used to be able to tell on Fox News. But now, there are many hosting news shows with their left wing fangs exposed.
