On March 5, 58 senior military and national security leaders sent a letter to President Trump denouncing his plan to form a National Security Council panel to take a critical look at the science underpinning climate change claims. Their objections to such a Red Team effort were basically that the “science is settled.”
But if the science is settled, what are they afraid of? Wouldn’t a review of the science come to the same conclusion as the supposed consensus of climate scientists?
The letter claimed, “Climate change is real, it is happening now, it is driven by humans, and it is accelerating.”
While climate change is indeed real, it is not at all obvious how much humans have to do with it. Even the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) admits this, saying only that over half of warming since the 1950s is believed to be human-caused. So, “driven by humans” is an exaggeration, even by the IPCC’s rather alarmist standards.
The additional claim that climate change is “accelerating” can also be challenged. In recent decades, warming actually decelerated, and there is a growing gap between climate model forecasts and measured global temperatures.
In fact, a peer-reviewed paper published last year in the prestigious Journal of Climate found that the observed level of global warming since the late 1800s, including the deep oceans, was consistent with a climate system only half as sensitive as are the climate models guiding U.S. energy and national security policy.
And even that study assumed that all of the warming was human-caused. If recent warming is only half anthropogenic, then the global warming problem is only one-fourth as bad as the public is being told.

Climate Statistics Professor Dr. Caleb Rossiter of American University and an Obama Liberal in every sense of the word is now being shunned by the Democrat Party for being a climate skeptic. Once his climate skepticism becomes news in a Wall Street Journal op-ed in May 2014, he was terminated from his fellowship at the liberal Institute for Policy Studies after 23 years. He called the Nobel given to Al Gore the worst Nobel Prize since Henry Kissinger. Al Gore, along with Obama vilified people who disagreed on climate change and took steps like those against Dr. Rossiter to ruin lives and assure that publications would not publish and disagreement with those in power. Dr. Rossiter explained that Al Gore was supported by the progressive socialists in the party because they want to move away from an industrial society to a post-industrial, non-fossil fuel, post corporate society.It has been made clear that those pushing the false science of climate change from Congress to corporations will continue to maintain a zero tolerance policy in regards to climate skeptics. They will not debate nor even recognize that there may be those who read real facts concerning climate change and have a different point of view.

If you actually listen to any of these retard global warming folks what they are actually talking about isn’t global warming at all but “overpopulation”. Exactly. There is no such thing as the “science of climate change”. That is an artifice created by democrats to gain control of the economy and ultimately people’s everyday lives and liberty.

As a side note to this thread, please consider the following.
The idea that politically correct “global warming” is settled science is same mentality imo that politically correct, vote-winning case precedent on which the murder of unborn children is based somehow trumps the fact that the states have never amended the Constitution to expressly protect so-called “right” to have an abortion like the Founding States did with the rights expressly protected in the Bill of Rights.
Perhaps not a good analogy. The Bill of Rights was enacted as a restraint on government. No one could conceive that the government would permit or direct abortions. This was the era of Orphans Courts that were established to determine the paternity of illegitimate children. Those fathers were required to provide support for those children so that the government did not have that burden.
I enjoy tracking the daily weather, in Omyakon Russia, the coldest inhabited place on earth. Early in march Omyakon broke out of their negative 50 degree days and experienced a warming trend.
The very day this happened a weather channel "meteorologist" lectured his audience on why not to associate North America's cold winter with the climate change argument. The "meteorologist" then broke out a map of Asia (Siberia) that showed how much warmer they were than the average..then said look how warm the rest of the world is. They waited until the first warm day in Siberia to start lecturing us....not a peep the previous three months of -50.
That day I also learned from CNN that the job of meteorologists was not to report the weather but to also educate the viewers on climate change.
Later that same day I learned Congress was introducing a bill to ban federal money for anti climate change research.

In the 70s, we were told we were in a mini ice age. I never saw an iceberg floating down Main Street.
I saw a Drudge headline a couple of days ago saying that scientists have invented a time machine that “defies the laws of physics”. Whatever stupid journalist wrote that doesn’t realize that it violates (if real) the CURRENT THEORIES of physics. Modern liberal journalists - know nothing, do nothing parasites on humanity.
I’ll bet it is a lot closer to the 100 bucks through the trailer court than the billion thru a corrupt U. Corruption isn’t nearly that discriminatory.
One of my professors when I was in Graduate School was one of the gurus of Global Cooling and was building one of the first Global Circulation Models from where we get all predictions of future climate. He later claimed that he has misunderestimated some of his algorithms and he “discovered” that rather than Global Cooling we were facing Global Warming.
Peddling Global Warming was much more lucrative than preaching glaciers in the swimming pool. Smart man, Stephen Schneider. BTW, like most climate scientists, he was neither a climatologist or a scientist. He was a mechanical engineer.
