Sephora announced on Thursday afternoon that it has ended its partnership with Lori Loughlin's YouTube star daughter Olivia Jade following a bitter backlash on social media in the days after her parents were charged in the college bribery scandal.
19-year-old Olivia, who is widely known as a social media and YouTube star with millions of followers, has worked with Sephora for some time now, and last year even released her own palette as part of a collaboration with its in-house label Sephora Collection.
But the popular beauty retailer has now terminated its partnership with the teen, after it was revealed on Tuesday that her Lori, 54, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, 55, had been charged by the FBI for allegedly paying $500,000 in bribes to get her and her little sister into college.

Although there is no law against arrogance, there should be an extra hard slap in the face to the defendants.
At least the Kardashians didnt pretend to go to college.
Parents should have let the kid go to beauty school. Seems all that this airhead is capable of.
She knew she got in by questionable means.

I watched 3-4 minutes of that video and temporarily lost 10-20 IQ points. It was brutal.
At least mom gave her nice normal names instead of going the Moon Unit Apple way.

I read the couple leveraged their house to pay bond - no way this happens if he's really worth $80M.
But what is the parent's crime? Because they are getting arrested too, right? They did't try to bribe a judge or something, they paid off a coach or a bureaucrat at a private institution. What law does that violate?

I hate when people release their own palettes....and in public, too!
Their payments for acceptance were to made to a fake charitable foundation and then deducted for tax purposes. I doubt you deduct the $20 you slip to the restaurant hostess.
Oh, I didn’t catch the fake charity part. Yup, that’ll do it.
So, it is only a crime if you bribe a judge?
In bribery there are, at least, two criminals.
The one who offers, and the one who takes.
Others involved, “facilitators,” are guilty as well.
It does not require being a public official either. (Judge)
If one is in a position, (read admissions director, coach etc,)
to influence the outcome of a process, and receives money, or any other “consideration,” to favor the payer, it is a crime. They have violated the “Bribery Law” Giving the coach a car would be a “consideration.” read “value.”
Ethics? No, it is a criminal offense.
They passed some of the money through a fake charity thus tax fraud.
So mommy and daddy have bragging rights among their own peers.
