Ban on Welfare-Dependent Immigration to U.S. Expected This Year
Breitbart ^ | 3/12/2019 | John Binder

A federal regulation to ensure that legal immigrants who are a public burden on American taxpayers are not allowed to permanently resettle in the U.S. is expected sometime this year, United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) officials tell Breitbart News.

The Trump administration legal immigration reform, known as the “public charge rule,” has been weighed by USCIS since the fall of last year and officials tell Breitbart News that the new regulation — which is expected to save American taxpayers billions while slowing the flow of mass unskilled legal immigration to the country — is likely to be enacted in full this year.

“It’s incumbent upon the U.S. government to evaluate [immigration] applications in a manner consistent with federal law, and the proposed public charge regulation is a necessary step to achieving that goal,” a USCIS official told Breitbart News in a statement.

Immigration is not a global wealth redistribution scheme. We must be selective who we allow and why. The taxpayers are not cash cows to be constantly milked by supposed immigrants. We want the best and the brightest, not the benefit seekers. This law is long overdue to be enforced. [Emphasis added]

This is news to me. I didn't realize that this President had any power over immigration rules. I thought the power resided with activist judges and illegal voters. Learn something new every day. Let's see how long those judges allow this to stand.

sad truth is that this has been law for a very long time, I was required to sign away my income and assets for 10 years when we got my wife her green card, to guarantee against her becoming a public charge, Trump did too!!

It’s been the law forever, just never enforced since GHW Bush decided we didn’t need ANY immigration enforcement.

Well, that would really cut down on Muslim immigration. Look for them to scream about it being “discriminatory.”

It has been selectively enforced going back to at least LBJ. It varied by local police department, and even precincts in the same police department. (Prior to Nixon most enforcement was state and local, not Federal.)

Cattle are not allowed into this country without having a an ancestry health and ancestry check

WHY ARE WE ALLOWING CITIZENS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
WHO ENTER US ILLEGALLY GRANT THEM RIGHTS
THAT THEIR COUNTRY DENY US HAVING
WHEN WE ENTER THEIRS LEGALLY TO VISIT OR RETIRE ???
It’s time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen entering illegaly exempting those who do so legally and meet US citizenship requirements. All subject to reciprocal citizen treatment a citizen of the United States receives in Mexico through the Mexican constitution on citizenship .

Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote, and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. And until that is changed the US and the affected state should consider making that reciprocal. Prohibiting any illegal entrant employment, voting, and land ownership prviledges fully enforced .. .

Benefits applications make it clear that non-citizens are not eligible for food stamps, Medicaid, or housing subsidies; however, non-citizens may apply “on behalf” of minors or “others in the houshold” (i.e. anchor babies) who ARE citizens. And a paid-for translator plus help filling out the application, will be provided to the illegal alien adult, if requested.
Under Obama, the weirdly vague, yet official designation “unaccompanied minor child” automatically qualified border-jumping teens (many of them tattooed MS-13 thugs) for a full ride on the welfare train. Because, poor children.
This crap encourages illegal immigration directed at crashing the enconomy.
Fox-Piven Plan.
