Freshman U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., is a “puppet congresswoman,” and “the people controlling her are very dangerous.”
It sounds like a crazy conspiracy theory, acknowledges actor, writer and political commentator Christopher Patrick Kohls.
But the first-hand evidence is there for anyone to see, he contends in a video produced under his Mr Reagan moniker.
“Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is not really the congresswoman of New York’s 14th Congressional District,” he says provocatively as he opens the video. “She is essentially an actress. She’s merely playing the part of a New York congresswoman.”
Kohls explains that in 2017, a progressive group that formed in response to Trump’s election called the Justice Democrats held “auditions” for potential congressional candidates to run on their platform.
As evidence, he runs a clip from a Justice Democrats video.
“Back in 2016, we put out a call for nominations,” says the group’s executive director, Alexandra Rojas. “We got over 10,000 nominations. Out of those 10,000 nominations, we found Alexandria.”
Ocasio-Cortez herself, in another video, says her brother nominated her.
“My brother told me that he had sent my nomination in the summer, but I was, like, literally working out of a restaurant then. And I was like, there’s no way,” she says.

I guess that makes her a “suck puppet.”
California can be the Capital State of Socialist United States... They get the Statue of Liberty... eternally calling all third world peoples to their shores. They get all Democrats, illegals, Deep State functionaries,LGBTQIAPK who want special rights, liberals, blacks and other minorities who see themselves as victims (of a conservative country), progressives and 'white elites who want a servant class that won't rebel' - - can feel at home there.(George Soros,Bill and Melinda Gates, Mike Bloomberg, all of Hollywood, etc...)
Washington is our capital - we keep our original Constitution... Our side gets conservatives, Republicans, traditional Americans, blacks and other racial groups who see themselves as citizens not victims, all sexualities who see themselves as citizens not 'sexual hole of choice' victims, and middle class and working class white people who don't want a servant class...
In the sense that they wrote the Green New Deal sure, but it's her own wackness that gets her the airtime and headlines. Without her, it's just another stupid piece of ill-conceived legislation.
Soon she will be big enough to pick new advisers and staffers and make her own connections if she wishes. That she'll chose wisely, though, doesn't seem likely. I think she'll stick with the same team, but they realize that they need her as much as she needs them.
She was an against the odds shot. Most of the Justice Democrat candidates lost. They could look for another front person to be their mouthpiece, but there's no guarantee that the new face would have the same success as Ocasio-Cortez did.
Justice Democrats was like an incubator or greenhouse. They took 79 eggs and put them under hot lights or 79 seeds and planted them in a hothouse, and waited to see which ones would develop. They must have known she was different, but I really doubt they could have foreseen that she would be "the One." It would have been too much of gamble to pin all their hopes on such an unlikely candidate from the beginning.
Maybe she has become "the One" now, but it couldn't have looked that way a year ago. There were too many obstacles. Her election wasn't a sure thing. There were too many other possible contenders for the progressive crown. And could anyone have predicted how successful her wackiness would be? It could all just as easily have blown up in her face.
With Obama it was different. He wasn't an outsider to politics and he had more consistent support from backers all along. Not that every one of them thought he'd make it all the way to the White House, though a few probably did, but all of them saw that he had a good shot at moving the next step up. They were well-connected and they were determined to do what it would take to achieve that.
I don’t rectal them mentioning Omar... it was AOC, Talib and another character whose name I have never heard before.
Omar wasn’t a paid actress - but she was run as one of the justice democrats.
Beware of equality abusers or equality extremists. Social justice warriors, these Justice Democrats twist the concept of equality in order to shame people into accepting communism. Equality under the law and equality under God are not the same arguments that communists use to divide us, such as “men and women are equal,” or “employees and business owners are equal,” or ultimately “the haves and have nots are equal.” Women and men are not equal, we have different looks, strengths and roles. Workers and business owners are not equal, we have different drives, goals, comfort levels, capacities, and orientations. As a result none of us have equal results in possessions or quality of life and it is wicked, WICKED to demand that we do. Communist hypnotists are perverting our founding concept of equality to convince us to envy and rob from our neighbors and shame us into giving up our property and rights. If your boyfriend’s a pig, don’t marry him. If your boss is an ass, find a better job, or better yet, build your own company. Don’t be a dummy. Don’t work for a jerk. Admire each other for your differences. Celebrate each other’s success and believe it can happen to you if you get the nerve to go for it. And if there’s something you want, YOU - MUST - EARN - IT.
