Fox News in a statement on Sunday condemned host Jeanine Pirro’s controversial comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.)
Pirro set off a wave of backlash after the comments on her Saturday night show “Justice with Judge Jeanine” that appeared to suggest Omar is loyal to Sharia law because she wears a hijab.
“We strongly condemn Jeanine Pirro’s comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar,” Fox News said. “They do not reflect those of the network and we have addressed the matter with her directly.”
Pirro in her own statement also pushed back on the criticism and attempted to clarify her comments.
“I’ve seen a lot of comments about my opening statement from Saturday night’s show and I did not call Rep. Omar un-American,” Pirro said.
“My intention was to ask a question and start a debate, but of course because one is Muslim does not mean you don’t support the Constitution.”

I stopped watching Fox News a long time ago. Its too PC. I do, however, continue to watch Fox Business (except for for that whiney and irritating Cavuto guy).

John Podesta, who was the White House chief of staff to President Bill Clinton and a counsellor to President Barack Obama, told Newstalk ZB’s Heather Du Plessis-Allan that Ardern had given hope to social democrats all around the world...

Podesta also gave his views on United States President Donald Trump, saying he is “completely unfit and unqualified to be President of the United States”.
He said there is a huge amount of division within politics - and Trump was an example of that.

Podesta said the real question was who could successfully prosecute a case against him.
However, when asked whether trying to prosecute Trump was the wrong strategy, he said the Democrats were in a tricky position, but they could not ignore criminal acts.
“The Democrats in the House do have some responsibility to make sure the justice system is functional.
“I don’t think people can look the other way from criminal acts.
“His national security adviser, his campaign chairman, his deputy campaign chairman, his senior policy adviser have all pleaded guilty to criminal acts.”...

Our national decline is accelerating apace. Its just a sad reality.
The Republican “majority” in congress could have helped to reverse it over the last two years but they did absolutely nothing. In fact, they did everything they could to resist the president and keep him from achieving the objectives the party base voted for. Shame on them.
Now its up to US to stand up to those who want to bring the country down. We have to expose their treachery, stop their power grabs, and fight them at every opportunity. We are left with no other choice.
