They slander DJT all day. They make treasonous proclamations and urge sanctuary city mayors to defy the law. They twist the news to omit crimes by favored minorities. And they urge a coup to remove the president we elected legally.

You win in court when you can prove the intent of the people in the media was hurt someone is what I learned back then, when you can prove the media people had negative opinions of the people they are reporting on.

One of the really great sides to this is it is setting a precedent. I expect the days that media doesn’t have to investigate their sources and information are over and it’s about time. No more throwing damaging lies around to fit their bias.

Too bad it’s not a pandemic. It would have made the reporting on Kavanaugh (for just one recent example) far better. Unfortunately, most of the left-leaning media seems to have gotten an ‘inoculation’ — and the presumption of innocence is in sick bay.
