When it comes to printing money, they think that QE1, 2, 3, and 4bama was normal democrat monetary policy. They will just say, okay we need to change who is the paper bills and recall the old money and devalue the new when printing ... or they might just want to go completely digital.

I suspect the goal is to go completely digital. We're almost there already. When folks over age 50 (or so) are gone, there will be next to no cultural memory of writing a budget, paying bills by checks, using cash whenever possible.

IT's the puppet masters dream. Every transaction will have a banking fee attached to it. Taxes will be automatically deducted from the account. People will be punished and rewarded for good and bad behavior by the credits in their account.

Of course, an underground economy will emerge with an alternate money (old silver coins? barter?) source. But I wonder how effective that will be with the lack of privacy that already exists.

Cruise ships have a cashless society, except for tips which aren't part of the structure. Nobody complains about it.
