After a week of brutal infighting over how to best respond to allegations of anti-Semitism, Democrats on Thursday presented a compromise that seemed unlikely to offend anyone: a resolution condemning bigotry and "hateful expressions of intolerance."
Then, in an unexpected turn of events, 23 Republicans decided to vote against it.

White supremacy bad - Islamo fascism good.
It is a sham.
It’s also a shame that after 9/11 that muslims can be elected to Congress.
Slow motion surrender.
Cheers to the 23 Republicans.
They saw the vote for what it was...
One of the additional content articles dipslayed the headline:
///// 10 Things You Didnt Know Queen Singer Did
It showed a photograph of Freddy Mercury.
I scanned the headline and thought it read:
///// 10 Things You Didnt Know Queer Singer Did
As others have noted, this resolution had about as much meaning as a resolution declaring that puppies are cute.
I more upset that more republicans didn’t vote against it
Any member of Congress who votes for ANY of these pointless virtue-signalling resolutions is wasting the taxpayers’ time and money.
It lacked diversity - It didn’t seem nearly inclusive enough in the hate it was against.
When are they going to condemn anti-white hatred & vitriol?
The answer to the title is simple. The rest of the Republicans didn’t have the cojones to vote against the Democrat sham.
Why? Because its a con and championed the rights of others—while others were chastised.
Absolutely!
Listen to Jewish Congressman Zeldin explain!
Uh, Article I of The Constitution.
Trying to legislate against ‘hate speech’ allows the legislators to determine what ‘hate speech’ is. And that is a violation of Article I.
And Nancy Pelosi was Ears Deep in Kissing the Muslims Asses.
You point is...?
/snerk
Did this resolution have something else in it that RINOs didnt want?
Didn’t the Dems pass something like this the last time they ran the House ?
Who were the five that didn’t vote? Seems that isn’t mentioned anywhere.
The true sham.. uhh .. The democRats support those who do harm to this country and its legal citizens and patriots.
