Jim Clyburn’s defense: Ilhan Omar’s experience is ‘more personal’ than Jews who had parents in the Holocaust
Rep. James Clyburn says Ilhan Omars experience is more personal than that of Holocaust survivors children
So how does it feel to be a member of the American Nazi Party, Mr. Clyburn?
Hope it works out for you.
So who caused her suffering? I'm pretty sure it wasn't "the Jews". How is that supposed to have affected her attitude towards Israel?
Another one with a Kenya connection.
So the Muslim jihadist who would be on a bus right now in Jerusalem blowing her ass up if she were not in Congress is somehow a victim, but people being burned alive in ovens, well thats no biggie cause the poor widdle Muslim is feeling bad, WHO CARES..seriously have we forgotten 9/11 do we need a refresher course
Words (at least those printable in this forum) fail me.
MAKE JUSTIFYING ANTISEMITISM GREAT AGAIN!
I don’t get it. Why would he even make such a comparison? Any comparison? What’s his point? That because she faced political/sexual persecution in a foreign land that we should excuse whatever ridiculous notions come out of her mouth?
“...was uniquely horrific and he would never diminish its significance.”
Funny because he already did.
The suffering of the Jews is beyond comprehension! She should have kept her mouth shut. When she became a member of congress, she had responsibilities she has failed miserably at. She can’t say the things she has said.. I don’t feel sorry for her.. she has no compassion.. she gets no compassion!
If the House Democrats had presented a resolution condemning Ilhan Omar by name for making anti-Semitic comments, anti-Semitism would have appeared as an isolated case within the Democratic party.
However, since the Democrats in the House rallied to Ms. Omar’s support by not allowing her name to be used in their final resolution, the entire Democratic party has been implicated as supporters of an anti-Semitic agitator.
Instead of being isolated, Ilhan Omar has instead become a prominent figure in the Democratic House, infecting the entire Democratic party.
So someone who is "living through a lot of pain" can say practically anything and get away with saying it.
Got it.
I want to hear this same sentiment from him the next time a black person commits a crime against someone and that person then calls them a nigger because they're also "living through a lot of pain".
I want to hear this same sentiment from him the next time a white person commits a crime against someone and that person then calls them a cracker/honky because they're also "living through a lot of pain".
I want to hear him express this same sentiment to the Angel Families as well. Can those families call the people who killed their family members wetbacks because they sure as hell are "living through a lot of pain"? As it stands now they can't even be called the illegal aliens that they are!
And for those having vapors...if a can completely spell out cracker/honky and wetback then I can spell out nigger.
One slur is just as reprehensible as the other, isn't it?
Or are some animals more equal than others? /Animal Farm
Dear House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C.,
The warm, squishy feeling between your toes is not sweat
from the heated hunting socks your wife bought you for Christmas.
Also, the smell emanating from the warm, squishy 'stuff' you just stepped in
should give you an idea of what it was that you actually just stepped in again.
Walking barefoot in the park is never a good idea.
Insincerely,

Defending the indefensible.
Shame on this hack.
He and Omar should resign, immediately.
His original comment makes no sense with regard to
Israel or anti-Semitism.
For once I totally agree with James Clyburn.
Rep Omar’s district will never again elect a non-Muslim. It is conquered territory.
(self conquered by our insane immigration practices)
unfortunately it wasn’t all that “unique”.
What a crock-she’s a wannabe jihadist who hates Israel and Jews-and if “living through a lot of pain” is making her this unhinged, then she belongs in psychotherapy-not in congress...
So why is he allowed to say this and Stephen King was not allowed to say what he said............King clarified how he meant what he said which was in relation to teaching in school
