At least James Clyburn gave Ilhan Omar some agency. Nancy Pelosi, who’s pushing an “All Hate Matters” strategy to protect her frosh caucus member, contradicts Clyburn’s “hierarchy of hurt” defense that Allahpundit rightly skewered in the previous post. Pelosi tried explaining it away as unintentional ignorance rather than repeated and malicious attacks on Jews who don’t agree with Omar:

I listened to Speaker Pelosi this morning and she seemed mostly incomprehensible. Does she have dementia? It was painful and sad to listen to. Hopefully there is someone around to intervene, get her proper care. The country needs a Speaker, number three in succession, that is in good health. Speaker Pelosi is clearly not.
It is inborn she is evil and it is a natural condition for her.
The party is in a mega mess no control by the old gang.
So far since I’ve been paying attention, antisemitism from the Democrats has not ridded them of the Jewish vote.

Omar is Ignorant ?
None of this would have happened if a few prominent Jewish Democratic donors had called Nancy and threatened to cut off their campaign dollars unless Nancy condemned Ilhan Omar for her anti-Semitic statements.
The fact that Nancy did the opposite and actually supported Ms. Omar means that she did not get such calls, or she doesn’t care anymore about Jewish donations, or she has such contempt for the Jewish people that she believes wealthy Jews will still fund the Democrats no matter how anti-Semitic her party may be.
In any case, Ilhan Omar now knows she can say anything she wants with no negative repercussions. If she decides to stand in the middle of the House floor and burn the flag of Israel, will any Democrat stop her? Not Nancy. In fact, she’d probably be joined by a majority of the House Democrats.
If the Dim House impeaches Trump and the Senate convicts (not likely), then VP Pence becomes President.
Unless and until he has a VP in office, the Speaker is the next in line. It takes a majority vote in both houses to confirm the VP selection.
How likely is it that the Dim House would vote in favor of any VP selection by Pence?

Maybe Pelosi should explain this further. Omar repeatedly makes antisemitic statements. Was the first one unintentional ignorance? How about the 2nd? What about the 3rd, 4th, 5th.... How does this work Nancy?
Nancy hears a quack and looks for a horse making the sound. It’s quite clear who Omar hates, and that she’s unfit to serve ALL the people of her district. Impeach.

Ilhan Omar adheres to the Muslim Brotherhood political agenda...she knew exactly, and knows now, what she is saying and doing. She has Cair and other powerful Islamic organizations supporting her......they always use our laws against us.
Nancy Pelosi is ‘afraid’ of the powerful Islamic powers in our country....afraid she’ll loose they’re political support if she does anything other than make this situation across the board ....this is absolutely about Ilhan Omar....Pelosi is not doing her job.
Omar is the one who got the rules changed so she could wear her headpieces.
