Knew an ex FReeper who I’ve not seen in forever on here, who said that it would have been better had hillary won because the Rs in congress would have fought harder.
It IS a syndrome.
No different than blind hatred for a race or religion.
Nothing can ever change that person’s mind.
You have to understand their personal financial stake in all of this; if they profess that they are conservatives but hate Trump they will be given the “conservative” chairs as the bone thrown to the right on CNN, MSNBC, the Times, etc. The media knows that they are bootlickers who will say anything for a few morsels and some continued public recognition that they can parlay into unread books, speaking appearances etc. By parroting the Establishment line, they serve as useful idiots for the Left while representing really next to no one other than themselves. There is a word for it in Nevada where in some communities it is legal: prostitution.
