On Ballot Harvesting, GOP May Have to Push Back

When Democrats across the country recently condemned the “ballot harvesting” election fraud on display in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District, Republicans who have spent years fighting the practice found themselves saying “I told you so.”

Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez praised the North Carolina election board’s decision last week to throw out the results that delivered a win for Republican Mark Harris and mandate an election do-over to determine the true winner.

“Calling for a new election in #NC09 was the right decision,” Perez tweeted. “Americans shouldn’t have to wonder if their votes will be counted. We need to fight like hell to make sure this doesn’t happen again in #NC09 or anywhere else in our country.”

Republicans were less-than-impressed by Perez’s condemnation of ballot-harvesting fraud. That’s because ballot harvesting is illegal in North Carolina only because the GOP-controlled legislature outlawed it. Only close relatives or legal guardians can submit a ballot on behalf of a voter; all others risk being charged with a felony.

Most Republican efforts to address voter fraud focus on laws requiring in-person voting and photo IDs. Such voter-verification policies for years have spurred charges of racism from Democrats, who maintain that they are designed to suppress the vote of minorities.

Democrats generally support efforts to expand mail-in voting and to legalize ballot harvesting – the practice in which organized workers or volunteers collect absentee ballots from voters and drop them off at a polling place or election office. They also have long argued that elections where mail-in ballots are heavily used usually go off without a hitch.

Why is everyone whining about ballet harvesting in NC when no one complained about in California? I thought ballet harvesting was legal.

Ballot harvesting is legal in California. It is illegal in North Carolina. What happened in North Carolina was clearly a case of voter fraud. It was only investigated because a crime had occurred. No investigations have happened in California. You can imagine for yourself what voter fraud occurred in California.

When Democrats across the country recently condemned the “ballot harvesting” election fraud, they proved that they're dishonest, lying hypocrites.

How about doing this ?
WHY ARE WE ALLOWING CITIZENS FROM OTHER COUNTRIES
ENTER US ILLEGALLY GRANT THEM RIGHTS
THAT THEIR COUNTRY DENY US HAVING
WHEN WE ENTER THEIRS LEGALLY ???
It’s time we consider illegal entry by any person who is a non Mexican citizen illegally entering the United States through the US Mexican border a defacto Mexican citizen with limited Mexican constitutional rights subject to their laws while transiting. As well as any Mexican citizen entering illegaly exempting those who do so legally and meet US citizenship requirements. All subject to reciprocal citizen treatment a citizen of the United States receives in Mexico through the Mexican constitution on citizenship .

Besides being unable to vote one must also be a citizen to own land and Mexico is very restrictive about granting citizenship. Because of that a US citizen besides not being able to vote, and cannot have title in their name to any land property in Mexico. And until that is changed the US and the affected state should consider making that reciprocal.prohibiting citizens of Mexico or countries with similar restrictions from doing both voting and land ownership..

The Border Patrol, ICE, and the DOJ are required to follow existing U.S. law and our law is totally screwed up thanks to incompetent and lazy politicians (Republicans) and cleaver and criminal other politicians (Democrats).

Arizona's RINO Governor, Attorney General and Secretary of State turned away as Kyrstin Sinema basically stole the Senate election. Maricopa Recorder Adrian Fontes illegally set up "Emergency Voting Centers" where no ID would be required. The week before the election Sinema volunteers canvased the parts of the city where illegals would most likely be to "harvest" their votes to the "Emergency" voting centers.

Despite openly breaking the law, Adrian Fontes is still County Recorder. Arizona is now Election Fraud Central, inspiring all other states to reach their heights of all election cheating.

Arizona is a concern for the 2020 election. Have these shenanigans made their way into Federal Court yet?

Ballot harvesting delivered the Senate position to Kyrsten Sinema in AZ. It’s illegal here, but the Republican Governor is doing NOTHING about it. Signatures on the ballot don’t match the signature on record?? No problem in AZ! If the Pubbies don’t get a handle on voter fraud, no republican will ever again win a national election.

Nobody seems to care. It's very depressing.
