Dems fear never-ending Clinton-Sanders feud could damage party in 2020: ‘They need to stop’

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. – Three years after Democrats witnessed a vicious presidential primary battle between eventual nominee Hillary Clinton and one-time longshot Bernie Sanders, there are rising concerns that a revival of the war of words between their two camps could hurt the party in 2020.

“I think there’s a small segment of people in both camps who harbor significant resentment,” a veteran New Hampshire-based Democratic campaign strategist told Fox News.

5 Mar: CTV: Obama in Calgary: Climate change chaos making politics more toxic
Lauren Krugel, The Canadian Press; With files from Laura Kane in Vancouver
He also criticized the Republican party for embracing right-wing populism, and he traced it back to the late senator John McCain’s decision to select then-Alaska governor Sarah Palin as his running mate in the 2008 presidential race.
“That was the moment when the Republican party changed,” he said.
There has always been a strain of nativism and suspicion of elites in the party, he said, but Palin brought those attitudes to the fore and laid the groundwork for Trump’s presidency...

5 Mar: Daily Hive: Former US President Barack Obama brings integrity and reason to Vancouver
by Darcy Matheson
On life after presidency, Obama says the transition back to being “regular people” was easy because, unlike young pop stars or actors, he and Michelle didn’t really become national figures until they were in their 40s.
Giving props to his wife and mother-in-law, he credits the ability to stay grounded as the reason his daughters grew up to be “remarkable women.”
“We didn’t believe our own hype,” he said...

4 Mar: Washington Examiner: Obama: There’s hope ‘if we can train a million Baracks and Michelles’
by Daniel Chaitin, WINNIPEG, Canada
He then amplified a vision he shared in Japan last year in which the new global class of future leaders are molded in his or his wife Michelle Obama’s image.
“If we could form a network of those young leaders, not just in the United States, but around the world, then we got something,” he said, adding, “if we can train a million Baracks and Michelles who are running around thinking they can change the world” hope is achievable.
Loud applause ensued...

He didn’t talk directly about his successor in the White House, President Trump, or the 2020 election, but he did take a jab at Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., provided a clue about how soon he might complete his first book since leaving office, and shared his admiration of Joe Biden, who was his vice president and is now looking at a bid for president...

Saikat Chakrabarti, is a proven tech expert.
(A) He co-founded a web design tool,
(B) He built up the product team at the payment processor "Stripe".........
(C) He then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.

Saikat Chakrabarti was....wait for it....... Bernie's Director of Organizing Technology. Even old man Bernie knew enough to hire a tech expert.

So, I guess (smirk) Chakrabarti's tech skills musta come in mighty handy when donations to Bernie were wire-transferred to the DNC
and ended up in Hillary's account
. Debbie W/S headed the DNC at the time and was ousted b/c of her bias for Hillary.

Course, none of us heard about any of this, but.....

<><> Chakrabarti the tech whiz did find out about the DNC theft, didnt he?

<><> Chakrabarti did speak to D/W/S about it, or to Debbie's tech expert, Imran Awan, didnt he?

<><> Chakrabarti did tell Bernie he was fleeced, didnt he?

<><> Chakrabarti WAS working for Bernie, wasnt he?

Oh, but we NEED to resolve this, so all the differences are settled, and the Democrat-Socialists can present a united front to the American people. Why, the big happy family would NEVER have any long-lasting personal feuds. They are WAY beyond such dysfunctional behavior.< /sarcasm >

But Democrat-Socialists do not KNOW how to “resolve” disagreements, other than the one faction or the other managing to cram the other factions into prisons and/or executing them in a “final solution”.

Well, if they had dropped the super delegates they would never have had the problem.

Of course, the socialist agenda would never have gotten any traction without that.

An FEC complaint says AOC and her COS diverted $1 million dollars in campaign contributions to her own pocket .....

The FEC complaint asserts that AOC's COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, established two PACs that raised big bucks for AOC's campaign:
<><> the Brand New Congress PAC, and,
<><> Justice Democrats PAC.
Then Chakrabarti systematically transferred $885,000+ in PAC contributions to his private companies with similar names:
<><> the Brand New Campaign LLC, and,
<><> the Brand New Congress LLC.
Saikat Chakrabarti's private companies, unlike PACs, are exempt from reporting all of their significant expenditures.

Keep in mind it is a common criminal act to open bank accounts using similarly named entities as Chakrabarti did.
It's easy to siphon off money for oneself by depositing checks in the new accounts with similar names that were made out to the original entity.

Even your bank will advise you that if the check-writer "mis-spelled" your name.....to just endorse the check with the correct name.

==========================================

ANALYSIS --- Chakrabarti's companies appear to have been set up for the sole purpose of obscuring how the political donations were used. The arrangement skirted reporting requirements and may have violated the $5,000 limit on contributions from federal PACs to candidates, according to the complaint filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a government watchdog group.

Campaign finance attorneys described the arrangement as “really weird” and an indication "there’s something amiss." They said there was no way of telling where the political donations went — meaning they could have been pocketed or used by the company to pay for off-the-books campaign operations.---SNIP---SOURCED FROM FR.

===================================

BACKSTORY AOC's COS, Saikat Chakrabarti, is a tech wiz.
(A) He co-founded a web design tool, and then (B) built up the product team at the payment processor Stripe.........
(C) he then came to the Sanders campaign after (cough) growing disillusioned with the tech world.

Saikat Chakrabarti was......wait for it......Bernie's Director of Organizing Technology.

JUST WONDERING .....does Chakrabarti have a reputation among Democraps for facilitating the conversion of campaign donations?

Here's to a Sanders/Clinton ticket!

As I've been saying for many years, I'm worried about VICE President Clinton.
Think of it:

• Two years and one day into her term the first slotter gets arkincided
• Under Article XXII, she can still run for two full terms as the incumbent
• The Glorious Hillary!™ Decade begins
• Hillary uses the Patriot Act to it's fullest extent, and beyond
• At the end of the Glorious Hillary!™ Decade there is a National Emergency "temporarily" delaying the elections
• Under the pressure of the National Emergency, the 1st, 2nd and 22nd amendments are repealed
• By the time the National Emergency is over all the 'improved' source code for the touch screen electronic balloting will be in place......

Just as an aside, with her well known love of Bernie, he is very expendable, isn't he?

I suspect his wife might be looking for a new place in Florida. It’s far beyond the time to get the hell out of the frozen northland

I bet it would take the accidental death of his wife, a huge life insurance payout, and a nubile young thing to seal the deal. Of course an ocean front house (no more cheapo lakefront), a big boat and nice little jet would be required, too. Couldn’t a Platinum Level Benefactor like Tom Stier arrange that?

It’s not the Clinton - Sanders feud that’s causing trouble. It’s the rise of the radical socialists that is the problem.

You forget she is old and not healthy. This is a terrifying scenario that I don’t think she could pull off since she couldn’t quit coughing nor stand up during her last campaign.

What a choice! On one hand, we have a candidate who wants to decimate our military, and pick our pockets to provide free stuff to everyone. On the other, we have a coy candidate who probably wants to expand a fortune already made in government service. (I always have wondered how that is possible.) Then, of course, we have the others who are tripping over each other in their headlong rush to the left side of the Ship of State because that’s where the Democratic base wants them to be. Every four years we hear about how important the next election will be. This time, it actually may be true.
