You are a German Style Dinner

You are dark, daring and inquisitive. You pepper your language with exotic vocabulary like “Spätzle” and yearn for the olden days — the really olden days.

Medieval times.

It gave me the turkey dinner and I didn’t even pick Thanksgiving. Back in the early 70’s I lived on those Banquet veal parmigiana dinners with the green beans and mashed spuds. IIRC they were 5 for a dollar when on sale. My rent back then was around $100 per month for a small house.

“Spätzle” is actually pretty good. It’s like pasta that is cooked with veggies. But, thanks for playing!

Hope the weather was a lot nicer there today. It was slightly warmer here.

I came up German Style - but I found it I went back and changed my answer on length of flight longer 10 or 14 hrs it came up polinysian style dinner. If I chose 5 or 8 hrs flight it was german style dinner and if I chose I never flew it was beans and frank dinner. Somehow flights is a huge deciding factor LOL.

Did they even have Polynesian style dinners?
But then the same question about German came to mind when I got it as a result. Never saw either one, that I can recall.

We should have both gotten Italian! LOL

You are a Fried Shrimp Dinner

You have crinkle-cut fries yet no dessert, as if to proclaim, "I'm an adult now but who says I can't have a little fun in my life?"

You are coastal, comforting, and a little bold.

Why not dip a french fry in the cocktail sauce? It's right there.

What’s a spatzle?

I’m 1/4 German but don’t care at all for German fare.
Not an ounce of Italian in me but I could eat Italian food every day. LOL

It was another beautiful sunny day here but still mighty brisk. Not quite as bad as yesterday, at least, which was good since I had a few errands to run.

Bet you were glad to have warmer temps, and the kittehs too.

I loved the pot pies, but my favorite ones were Swanson’s, because they had a bottom crust. But Banquet aren’t bad either. I haven’t had a Marie Callender. KFC makes a killer chicken pot pie, but it’s pretty big. I can eat about 1/2 at a time. And it has a bazillion calories. LOL!

Howdy, PRO.

So you liked those as a kid, too, huh? Same here. STILL like weenies and beans. LOL

Any signs of snow melt yet?

I wish I’d tried those. I think I looked at “veal” and thought it was not edible. But I was extremely picky. I guess I still am. :)
