The one policy area where conservatives could still count on most Republicans to stand firm and resist Leftist Democratic efforts even those considered solidly within the GOP Establishment was so-called climate change, but not even that resistance appears to be cracking.
More Republicans are beginning to embrace the climate science claiming that human activity is disrupting the Earths weather and climate patterns to the detriment of everyone on the planet.
One former GOP stalwart was Rep. John Shimkus of Illinois, who at one time forcefully pushed back against allegations of human-caused climate change by invoking the Bible and declaring that Earth will only end when God declares its time to be over.
Today, however, Shimkus is taking a defeatist attitude, obviously worn down by the Lefts never-ending push to factor climate change into public policy.

More Soros money pouring into lobbyist pockets aimed at the RINOs???
When you ask lawyers to understand Science, you ALWAYS end up with bad law.
Remember how replacing low flow toilets were going to save us water?
Now you have to flush twice.
climate change = socialism
That’s their plan. Push, push, push, keep pushing, till they wear their opposition down.
It doesn’t matter that their climate change crap is pure nonsense and is nothing more than a wealth redistribution plan designed to control people.
Of course it’s not worth the fight any more. RINOs never fight for anything.
This is one of the few fights worth fighting. Give up on this and we give up the farm.
Let’s suppose for just a microsecond that the climate activists are right:
> How can the United States do any better than they already are doing?
> When will the rest of the world catch up to us?
> Why should we even entertain any changes until they do?
> If they don’t, shouldn’t that be enough?
Now back to reality and the fact that the environmentalists behind this are merely using this as a wedge issue to punish western capitalism.
That’s just what the Left counts on every time. Their opposition caving.
To quote Basil Fawlty, “This is exactly how Nazi Germany Started”.
They knew if they just grinded down their opponents they would win, eventually their opposition was too tired to fight them.
RINOs got excited by AOC’s $85 trillion price tag. That buys a whole lot of pork!

There’s a GOP congresscritter that needs to be replaced!

“Thinking is too hard”
More likely bribing them with some of the take on the Green New Deal.
The politicians are in business to sell the best interest of “we the people” to the highest bidder. Looks like we are being sold out again. . . . So it’s not worth it anymore to do the right thing, huh?
I consider this to be one of the most prominent Fascist threats to our nation at this time.
The massive branch out of this effort will impact everyone.
It’s utter nonsense too.
This year so far, the temperature has been close to ten degrees below normal on average. It has seldom reached the average temperature, just a few days so far.
And we have a winner! They’re not caving, someone’s come up with enough money to buy their votes.
I can’t understand why more people aren’t talking about the fact that members of Congress, who earn less per year than senior executives in an average-size company, somehow manage to accumulate millions in wealth in a relatively short span of time. Having met quite a few of them in my lifetime, I can attest to the fact that it’s not because they’re shrewd investors...
Yes, it’s worth the fight.
