Chinas customs authority has suspended customs clearance procedures for Model 3 cars built by Tesla Inc, the financial publication Caixin reported on Tuesday.

Seems to me that there are people who want this car. My son just bought a Chevy Bolt ( replacing his Nissan Leaf), because he could not afford a Tesla Model 3. He says it’s a wonderful car that fits his commute needs. The same article says Chevrolet only sold 1,875 of them in January.
Stock market not responding well to the news. Tesla stock down double digits this morning and minus $48 since Friday morning.
Soon China will be selling the Alset 6 ,LOL
Chinese customs authorities are allowing Tesla TSLA to import the company’s Model 3 sedans into the country, after reports had said the vehicles were being held due to irregularities, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing sources familiar with the matter. Tesla did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The news that 1600 Tesla vehicles were being held was first reported by Chinese financial publication Caixin.
