7 Signs Trump Will Landslide 2020
Townhall ^ | Mar 3, 2019 | Kevin McCullough

If the 2020 election were held today President Donald Trump would win by a bigger margin than in 2016, carrying the most number of states since the Re-election of President Ronald Reagan.

I say this because like I did two years before Barack Obama was elected, I saw trends that added up to a significant win, I noted them in this column, and they occurred in near complete detail.

In 2016 with polls and every media pundit, and even many of his own supporters doubting the outcome of the election, I predicted the map that would match the election night result minus one western state and one congressional district in Maine.

As in those two cases I’m not claiming some sort of prescience. Rather I’m saying the momentum on the ground seems to tell us something different than perhaps what social media, old media, recent history or even traditional political logic would seem to indicate will happen.

Here’s some of what I see:

17 of 30 above 50. The latest Gallup polling data released this week indicates perhaps the most telling reason. President Trump won 30 states on election night. President Trump’s approval rating on the day he was sworn into office was 45%. For perspective Presidents Obama, Clinton, & Reagan were at 47%, 46%, & 40% finishing up February of the third year. All of them cruised to re-election. Trump’s approval in Gallup is 44% and continues to hover around 50% in Rasmussen where he spent almost the entirety of February. But in Gallup’s most recent survey the key is where his strength is centered. The top 30 states where President Trump’s approval is the highest, mirror the 30 states he carried on election night. -SNIP-

No doubt. But, I think that we can safely assume that the Democrat ticket for 2020 will be less palatable to many 2016 Clinton voters. Johnson County comes to mind.

I don't think you can safely assume that at all. Aren't too many candidates as unlikeable as Hillary Clinton.

There are only 2 things that will prevent Trump from winning and winning big...

1) A complete economic collapse

or

2) He becomes viewed by his supporters as no longer putting America First.

Trump will win re-election by the largest margin since 1984. It won’t be 49 states to 1, but it will be by the largest EC margin since then... And with some Blue States deciding to throw their votes to the popular vote winner, regardless of how their populace voted, expect for some surprising red states on that final EC map...

Oh and for the record, I stated he’d win by the greatest margin since 1984 in 2016.... So glad whoever this is, has come around to the obvious

AOC can’t run even as VP. She won’t be 35 on Inauguration Day 2021.

3) The more likely reason Trump loses in 2020 is even more massive voter fraud.

Alas, I have not seen any actions to address this issue and insure a safe election.

All of them are Cheap Labor Express stooges.

Bush League Republicans MUST become extinct before the Republic does.

Comprehensive Immigration Reform means amnesty, the abandonment of the rule of law and the surrender of the country.
We will not survive as a nation if we do not elect people who side with US and the rule of law.

Except perhaps for the current Democrat contenders.

Let’s face it, it’s the ground game. Trump has it in place and these rallies extend it. Which democrat is putting in ground game now. That’s the power of the incumbent.

"I do think the deranged democratic party might just band the blue states together, reject any Trump nominations and go full socialist, electing Hillary of course, or Bernie."

Also add in a deranged GOPe setting road blocks against the President in the nomination/electoral process.

I’ve liked Pence’s style but there are two or three others that might pull in additional votes.

Like who?

Voter Fraud is not going to cost Trump the election... This is the same silly type of argument every backer of GOP candidates made during the primaries of why Trump would lose to their guy...

Will there be fraud? Sure there will, just like there was in 16, and in every election... and Trump will still handily win.

Fraud, at a national level is virtually impossible to swing a presidential election, and that’s by design. Can it swing local ones? Yep, the presidential election is next to impossible to fraud your way to a win. About the only example of that in modern times, that you can reasonably make accusations of was the 1960 election.

Where Fraud gave IL and the election to Kennedy. Trump’s re-election will never hinge on one state...

Trump is not losing in 2020, and anyone claiming he is, is either lying to you, or is truly so paranoid they probably should have been a writer for the X Files or something.

Trump has it in place and these rallies extend it.

The rallies appeal to his base. His base is enough to get him the nomination. His base alone will not win him reelection.

Trump won’t get 1980 or 1984 level wins, but he WILL get the greatest landslide re-election since 1984.. no doubt.

And, given that some blue states have decided their electors should vote for the popular vote instead of how their state votes, very good chance there will be some Red EC states that went blue on election night.

Johnson County, Illinois ?

Politics
In its early days Johnson County, being strongly Southern in its culture, was fiercely Democratic. In fact, in the 1860 Presidential election the county gave Illinois native and Northern Democrat Stephen A. Douglas a higher proportion of its votes than any other county in the United States.

However, during the Civil War, under the influence of Congressman John Logan, this region of dubious initial loyalty was to provide a number of Union soldiers rivalled on a per capita basis only by a few fiercely Unionist counties in Appalachia.[15][16]

This level of Union service has meant that despite its historic hostility towards Yankee culture, Johnson County has been powerfully Republican ever since the Civil War. Douglas in 1860 remains the last Democrat to win a majority of the county’s vote: the solitary Democratic victory since was by Bill Clinton in 1992 and was due to Ross Perot taking many votes from Republican incumbent George Bush senior. In 2016, as was typical of the rural Upland South, Hillary Clinton fared extremely badly in Johnson County: despite the long-time Republican traditions of the county, her vote percentage was the lowest by any Democrat in the county’s history, but was very typical of her performance in the region due to opposition to the Democratic Party’s liberal views on social issues like homosexuality.[17]

Presidential elections results[18]
Year Republican Democratic Third parties
2016 76.4% 4,649 18.8% 1,142 4.9% 298

The craven power-mad left...no, progressives...no, socialists...no, anti-Americans...yes, and their minions see this sort of trend data also and are working overtime to negate the electoral college before 2020. They can then, as they did in the case of the way senators are chosen, move the country DOWN to a full-on democracy. Shortly after that, it will be the final slide of the American Republic into the peoples republic of America or the united socialist states...

Fight on!
Chaos to the enemy!!!
