If the 2020 election were held today President Donald Trump would win by a bigger margin than in 2016, carrying the most number of states since the Re-election of President Ronald Reagan.
I say this because like I did two years before Barack Obama was elected, I saw trends that added up to a significant win, I noted them in this column, and they occurred in near complete detail.
In 2016 with polls and every media pundit, and even many of his own supporters doubting the outcome of the election, I predicted the map that would match the election night result minus one western state and one congressional district in Maine.
As in those two cases I’m not claiming some sort of prescience. Rather I’m saying the momentum on the ground seems to tell us something different than perhaps what social media, old media, recent history or even traditional political logic would seem to indicate will happen.

Here’s some of what I see:
17 of 30 above 50. The latest Gallup polling data released this week indicates perhaps the most telling reason. President Trump won 30 states on election night. President Trump’s approval rating on the day he was sworn into office was 45%. For perspective Presidents Obama, Clinton, & Reagan were at 47%, 46%, & 40% finishing up February of the third year. All of them cruised to re-election. Trump’s approval in Gallup is 44% and continues to hover around 50% in Rasmussen where he spent almost the entirety of February. But in Gallup’s most recent survey the key is where his strength is centered. The top 30 states where President Trump’s approval is the highest, mirror the 30 states he carried on election night. -SNIP-

Patriots also need to landslide a new, Trump-supporting patriot Congress in 2020.
It's easy to say your guy is going to win in a landslide when you have no idea who they will be running against.
The education establishment has succeeded in turning a majority of young people Socialist.
And unlike prior generations, they don’t seem to be maturing out of that as they age.
And yes, we continue to import new Leftist voters.

I have the same problem. My mind is still running faster than my fingers.
But, to make another point. The GOP has too many Trump haters and Debbie Downers who are encouraged by the voices of the Left. Like the old musical song, “Right here in River City” We have plenty of them right here on Free Republic. At this point we are talking to our own side and reminding them what we have to do.
I do think the deranged democratic party might just band the blue states together, reject any Trump nominations and go full socialist, electing Hillary of course, or Bernie.
Yep, not many people will trust Kamala BJ Harris to run International affairs.
Fortunately for us, the Democrats are heading in that direction, although Uncle Joe is getting wobbly in the knees.
No doubt. But, I think that we can safely assume that the Democrat ticket for 2020 will be less palatable to many 2016 Clinton voters. Johnson County comes to mind.
He did skip over one other item....if Trump decides to go to another VP choice. I’ve liked Pence’s style but there are two or three others that might pull in additional votes.
The United States will not survive the 2020 election, simply because we no longer agree on how the next president should be chosen. The Democrats will engage in massive election fraud in urban areas in swing states, like PA, FL, and OH. They will run up huge fraudulent popular vote totals in blue states, like CA and NY. We will see turnout in some urban areas approaching or exceeding 100%. We will see ballot harvesting, delayed counts of absentee ballots, newly discovered ballots, and baseless allegations of vote suppression, all challenging republican victories weeks after the polls closeed, just as we did in the last election. The media will predictably take the side of the left, and cast the Republicans as refusing to accept the election results. That's how it will start.
The liberals know they can commit voter fraud and get away with it so unless voter laws are enforced he is at risk.

Wonderful moments, of happy memory, but as some comments have already pointed out; such an outcome cannot happen in today’s political landscape. That does’t mean that Trump can bring a big win that will hit the Democrats and the media into the pig trough. Trump haters will be sad.

It has been the life’s work of Bush League Republicans to fundamentally transform this country.
They are not going to allow us to stop it, much less reverse it unless they are removed from office.
In 2020, these Senators must be replaced with patriots who side with the citizens and the rule of law:
Gardner, McSally, Daines, Collins, Cornyn, Capito, Enzi, Rounds, Graham, Tillis, Sasse, Hyde-Smith, McConnell.
