He did skip over one other item....if Trump decides to go to another VP choice. I’ve liked Pence’s style but there are two or three others that might pull in additional votes.

I would not be surprised if Trump went with another running-mate in 2020 and I actually hope that he does so. Nothing against Pence who has been nothing but loyal, but need to look beyond 2020. If Pence is the 2024 nominee, I think he'll be easy pickings for the Democrats. That is, I don't think Pence can win a national election. He doesn't have the charisma and his hyper-religious ways don't play well outside the Bible Belt.

If we are to sustain the Trump revolution, we need another non career-politician who is not afraid to rattle some chains and owes nothing to the Beltway establishment crowd. Otherwise, if a career politician (Republican or Democrat) gets back in in 2024, things in Washington will quickly get back to the same old same old.

Not sure who that would be. At this point, I'd rather have a total outsider that leans to the left over a career politician who says the right things on the campaign trail but does something else entirely once in office. Such as what the Bushes did to us.
