So that's it. The Kentucky punching bag joins other Republican stiffs in their rebuff to US and President Trump. Once Trump is gone, so is the GOP for me.

Congress needs a two thirds majority to override a veto, unless many more repubs defect whatever Paul or anyone else does will not matter.

Do they think a democrat president wouldn’t do this anyway?

a nice thought..BUT presidents have been doing this for years and years....

AND
to vote against the president now.. on a matter of our national security ... is exactly the WRONG time to cast this kind of anti-president/pro-spending control vote

it leaves us thinking that Rand doesn’t give a rats-ass-damm about protecting our country from all the IslamoNazi terrorists (and Mexican gang members) that are flooding into our towns and villages, “from sea to shining sea”

certainly, Rand could make his spending point.. at another time.. on another matter!!!!

I can only conclude that Rand has inherited too many of his daddy’s weirdo genes...correct on a number of issues but then...horrible, crazy on other matters

Come on, Senator Paul, please just vote to let our Commander in Chief protect our country... this one time?

Yep, we really don’t have people standing up for us, repping us anymore in Washington other than Trump and maybe a handful of others. Dangerous times because it leaves the door open for these commie totalitarian fux to take over. God help us if someone like Sanders ever takes the WH with a Rat majority in both houses because we damn well know Republicans will do absolutely nothing and will allow them to run amok, do absolutely anything they wanted. Look at the past two years: Repub majority and the WH and they still allowed the commies to stomp all over us, hold this disgusting pathetic fake Russia collusion investigation while the real crooks mock us, and nothing done about the wall or healthcare. Keep your guns and ammo and be prepared.

Paul sucks. Almost as bad as his counterpart. And that’s saying a lot.

This vote will display targets for primaries for the 2020 election. This vote is about who is with us, and who isn’t.

If it’s OK for Clinton, Bush, and Obama to shuffle previously appropriated funding for situations they deem “emergency”, then it’s OK, and quite appropriate for Trump as well is how I see it.

So, if a million people are determined to cross the border headed north, and they are en route, (and in fact they are...) what is Paul prepared to do?

We have our answer. Nothing.

and so as the curtain slowly drops .. we find a nation in turmoil, at war with itself, locked in a death struggle, influenced by an insane media and political class that puts power above principle.. deceit above truth,, death to the republic as a new badge of honor for those who fight to destroy the good along with the bad.

and you wonder why they are called heathen.. vermin fits them just as well.

This should've been addressed when Paul Ryan was Speaker of the House. Instead, President Trump signed an out-of-balance budget that didn't include the wall.

Rand Paul is consistent about wanting fiscal sanity. I also wonder how happy he is that President Trump is doing a lot of globalist maneuvering in foreign affairs.

You can use your ideals to explain how you are going to defend America, or you can use your ideals to explain why you aren’t going to defend America.

We know which kind of “idealist” Paul is.

“Did he vote against any of the other “national emergencies” like the ones Obozo declared?”

No, because it wasn’t brought up for a vote. Anything Obama did was just fine, and dandy, but not this Pres.
