Rat Congresses, under rat Presidents, have had upwards of 50 years to statutorily condone baby murder. The fact that they rely on five lawyers to keep it speaks to their troubled consciences and fear of losing their seats.
An opposition party would call them out.

Reagan broke that tradition by nominating Judge Bork. The Progressives went wild, and the term “Borking” was minted.
Since that time, Constitutionalists have been successful in getting five originalists and textualists on the Supreme Court. Some have been disappointing, such as Justice Kennedy.
If President Trump nominates, and has confirmed, one more originalist and textualist to the Supreme Court, we will have the first Constitutionalist Supreme Court in 84 years.
